It's amazing to think that around a year ago we hadn't even seen a multiple-car race. Now it comes down to the precision of shadows... Evolution have done an amazing job over the past year.

In fairness, there was also yesterday's controversy about whether a fireworks display would really cause the dashboard illumination to react exactly as it's depicted in the game. Clearly these are game-breaking issues.

Can't wait for the weather/photomode patch so that we can debate the geological inaccuracies of weather patterns compared to the locational norm of the areas in the game and the ISO settings of photomode compared to a professional camera set-up.

That MP race is quite chaotic. I also picked up something in Joystiq's stream yesterday that I also heard here, there seems to be, at high speeds, a noise. I can't tell if it is increased road noise or wind as you zoom through the air, but a nice touch indeed.

To be fair, it's a little confusing if you're not keeping up with every bit of driveclub news. They've released tons of footage with weather effects pre-launch, so it wouldn't be crazy for someone to assume that there was weather at launch.

Are there microtransactions in the Plus edition? I don't really care for extra cars but I would pay 20 bucks to unlock more locations. The environments are the main things drawing me into this game.
