Horizon multiplayer not yet announced, to be released H1 next year if the job advert is to be believed.

Looks to me like they're shortening the announcement to release gap. Good or bad thing? I quite like a couple of years of excitement to build up personally.

In any case, with GOY, Horizon MP, Death Stranding 2 and Venom (per the leaks) looks like a decent 2025. If this ND game joins Wolverine in 2026, along with some of the other stuff, should be OK.

All I want is Uncharted 5 (no woke crap please, make it a prequel with Nathan/Sully) and a remastered version of Uncharted 2-3 Multiplayer at 4K 120 fps (Sony wants a successful GaaS to sell skins/MTX, so they may as well bring their classic MP back and do some fanservice while at it).

He is like the Robert De Niro of gaming, a great actor but became so political and woke. Druckmann is very good, I enjoyed Uncharted series especially part 2, which I consider one of the best action adventure of all time, but he is starting to look like he is becoming too political and pushing agendas.

They already told why they droped factions. They dont want to leave some of the studio tied to supporting a GAAS for years. They rather have all staff woking on single player games. It just sucks that nowadays the simple idea of making a solid multiplayer game without turning into a GAAS is not viable anymore.

Uncharted 3 was a GaaS back in 2013 (F2P + MTX/cosmetic skins, long before Fortnite was released):

Honestly, it's not that hard to remaster it and bring it back to life! PS5 could easily run it at 4K 120 fps, PS4 could run it at 1080p 60 fps. Huge install base right there! Sony is sleeping on it!!!

They already have 95% of the code base (graphics engine) complete thanks to Bluepoint (Uncharted Trilogy on PS4).

The rest 5% is the netcode, which is most likely very similar (15 Hz tickrate anyone?) to TLOU1 Remastered on PS4. The only unique part is the LAN mode in Uncharted 3 MP (Nintendo implements LAN mode in every Switch title, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2/3, ARMS etc.)

I wasn't happy with TLOU2, but I'll wipe the slate clean and give him a fresh chance with the new game. ND is a good studio, and they've made some great games in the past. Here's hoping they do it again.

Well, yeah. You are as good as your last games. Uncharted 4's pace is ass. Tlou 2 is a great game with unnecessary semi open world elements, so-so pace and awful story. Only redeemable thing about both is combat and graphics.

Druckmann has full creative control over next project? Okay well the creative direction, story, dialogue, messaging will be dogshit but hopefully I can enjoy some sweet sweet ps5 exclusive CGI esque graphics and their world class third person action adventure gameplay

Sony revealed Ghost of Yotei within 1, or most likely, less than 1 year of release. I wouldn't be too worried given current development cycles and the fact that it's a new IP as well. I'm still betting on a FY25 release (before April 1, 2026).
