Druckmann: You think you know… but you have no idea. Naughty Dog’s 5th franchise is our wildest adventure.

Usual suspects getting their panties in a bunch. Makes sense. The easily offended, easily triggered mob ready for service.
I for one will wait for the full game, watch the meltdowns here, the backpedaling, the crow eating, it will be hilarious. The cycle will repeat itself for these people.

Exactly. People should wait and see as all we have is a cut scene of someone traveling to a destination.

There is a lot of flexibility and intrigue with the premise they have, I doubt they're doing something run of the mill.

The man’s playing his audience like a damn fiddle. And by audience, I mean mostly the haters.
He’s long ago found out what kind of content will elicit certain reactions, and you better believe he’s showing exactly what he wants before turning the tables and making the haters look like fools. He doesn’t care if some people won’t buy his game, but he certainly cares about owning his detractors. He’s taken a lot of good lessons from Kojima, and people are falling for the same tricks.

I don’t really care about Intergalactic, because I stopped playing ND games when I couldn’t think that the setpieces were worth the tediousness of the gameplay anymore. I don’t have a PlayStation 5 anyway, nor am I getting one for a ND game. But I’m pretty sure of this - you can meme the guy and his products to the end of the universe, but you’re playing his game all the same. Don’t believe for a second he doesn’t enjoy reading the negative comments and coming up with ways to counter them that will make him look even smarter. ND haven’t been working 4+ years to make a divisive trailer.

It'll be a rip off of Stellar Blade
I doubt they can make that type of combat when their most deep combat was tlou2 with a single attack button and an evade button.

Stellar blade is not even that deep but still 500x times deeper than anything nd has ever made.

And tbh, i don't want something super fast and flashy from them, we have japanese games for that, i still want something more methodical and slow\heavy and kinda realistic, not a character that attack 345 times in 30 sec to do 10 point of damage total.

The only thing the studio created under his SOLE leadership was a hundred million waste of money in the form of a canceled GaaS game set in the Last of Us universe.

No more Amy, no more Bruce, no more Evan (Wells) and no more Christophe (Balestra) to blame for his shortcomings...

TLOU online was canned because of Bungie

It was a crap trailer that still managed to show everything of consequence.
Bad aesthetic, lame ass concept, no advancement in graphics and Soulslop gameplay incoming.

I'm judging this one hard and early. Sorry, but just by how ill-suited Jordan's character model is to the only enemy we've seen her fight (yay, robots. Because that's so satisfying), I know that ND isn't putting their best foot forward.

Im gonna give them the benefit of the doubt for now. We’ll see if it ends up being a DEI mess or a return to form. BUT Naughty Dog dont make bad games, they just dont. They make questionable choices within those games but we’ll see…

Oh god... it's gonna be awful ain't it? Another tryhard story that sells itself at some grandeur shit with any lack of self awareness of how shit it really is...

Female Aang "emotional" journey about some fuck'd up stuff made by the embodiment of the patriarchy incarnated in an awful male character

Oh, Neil you've done it again!, you deserve more of Anita in you as a reward for your amazing work as her bitch-ass ambassador

Evan was a co-president during all the production (or rather, pre-production) of TLOU Online, and are you really saying that's the only thing they've done right after they showed off their new SP project in development since 2020?
What the fuck is this low-effort shitposting?

So we ain't ready for the ammount of wokeness he will bring to us. I expect at least dragon age level of wokness so let's see if he tops this.

Lets see some extended gameplay and story footage first, Dr.Uckmann. Then you can kick the marketing machine into full gear.

You're probably right. The trailer seems like it was aimed at riling people people and, well, he got what he wanted. Now it remains to be seen if stirring the pot was worth it, or if its another by-then-numbers game which brings nothing new to the table gameplay-wise.

Wait are you talking current nd fans or people they lost with TLOU2 ?

It’s likely he means that Intergalactic won’t play anything like we’d expect it to following Uncharted/TLOU. In the trailer you can see Jordan use the rock to jump and strike the enemy, and I think this is a clue as to what to expect from the melee combat - in that we’ll be using the terrain a lot to get the upper hand and I imagine this will make for some awesome set pieces.

ND without the shackles of realism could be something special indeed, and I’m loving the fact that people seem to have forgotten how fucking awesome ND are, whilst they focus on their Druckman hate.
