No big project is approved nowadays if it doesn't have franchise potential. Makes sense, if they have created a full-fledged sci-fi lore and the first game happens on an isolated planet.

What he means is that Neil supports keeping the controversy alive by calling out critical fans and preaching about women and stuff.

TLOU 2 is a great game despite its many inconsistencies and plot holes. They are given a pass because in a videogame our suspension of disbelief isn't at the same level as in a book or TV show. Just compare the character arcs from TWD with TLOU's. Neil can't write a character like Carol, Rick Grimes, or Negan. Those are beyond his skills.

I understand he is proud of his baby, but he should have shown 2 minutes of actual gameplay instead. I hope the next video to be something more focused, like the Crimson Dessert trailer or the Ananta (anime GTA) recent reveal, where they showed a lot of mechanics. No words needed, that stuff marketed itself and we don't need to see the faces of their creators.

Yeah, I think that is most likely to happen with Intergalactic. I'm by no means a man of any faith, though I'm not atheist either. The commentary on religion in TLOU2 is pretty cringe, comes off as teenage-edge-lordy. I hope they're a little more subtle with it in Intergalactic. I've said this countless times, but, I'm in day one no matter what they do with the game.
