E3 2014 | Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 [ it's over :( ]

They expressed quite a lot of poitive interest in the new Zelda, Mario Maker, and Kirby Canvas Curse sequel and the team was maybe 50/50 on excitement for Yarn Yoshi.

It's OK if not everyone loves every single thing that Nintendo is putting out.
I never said it wasn't OK just that they are a bad place to go for coverage of Nintendo games in general. I'm not expecting GameXplain levels of coverage or enthusiasm just normal levels of neutral coverage like Eurogamer, Edge, IGN etc.

I remember at one point they weren't even reviewing major Wii U and 3DS titles. That was a year ago or so, maybe things have improved since then but if that was their attitude at the time, it's no surprise I wouldn't trust them when it comes to anything Nintendo related. Also at E3 last year and the year before Jeff was extremely obnoxious and dismissive of anything Nintendo related on Spike TV's panels.

I'm interested that Sakurai, who has seemed to be against the serious competitive smash community in the past, approves of this tournament. I wonder if they're taking advanced play more seriously and inviting pro smash players in to test things out...
