Great CBB. Claudia was awesome as usual and Stars were surprisingly cool. I'm in the crowd that feels like musical guests can be hit or miss but I really enjoyed them. Seemed like they were having fun and it's always good when the guests engage with the comedians like they did.

Am I hearing things or is there low feedback in the beginning of the CBB episode? Hopefully it stops soon, but so far it's giving me a headache.

Edit:
Well it went away, then came back, then went away again. Hopefully it's gone for good.

I think Scott typically does a solid job at bringing in musical guests who work well on the show (though American Football was pretty lousy earlier this year).

Besser isn't nearly as choosy when it comes to musical guests on i4h, which becomes problematic.

friggin engineer cody not doing his job again

speaking of which i just listened to the HH where they make an engineer switch places with them for the teaser freezer. "Hayes is so dumb now that doing sound just makes sense to him"

Guys....I don't think HH is for me. I've tried multiple times and I just can't get into it.

I get what it's going for and I like parts of it, but as a whole it just ends up being a constant stream of nonsense to me. Maybe it's because I'm working while listening to it? Not sure.

It's an acquired taste, and I don't say that to be judgmental. Not at all.

My suggestion would be to go through the HH archive and listen to a few more eps featuring CBB mainstays like PFT and Lapkus, if you haven't done that already.

If you don't care for those eps, it's probably not your cup of tea. And that's fine.

Holy shit, I'm going through every episode of CBB and just got to ep 27 with Cyber Thug taking over the radio station with Jerry O'Connell and Bobby Bottle Service and I have not stopped laughing. This is easily the first of the old episodes that has been amazing throughout the entire episode.

"Hey Jerry! So that movie Joe's Apartment..... You still hang with them roaches?"

I think I'm going to slowly go through it when I'm not at work. With how fast it moves I just feel like I'm missing something constantly. Hopefully it kicks in for me sooner or later.

I've never thought about going back to the beginning of CBB. Those first episodes must have been rooouugh. I actually want to try it to see how the show has changed since then. I imagine Scott is a much better host now than he was in the beginning.

It is pretty rough at the start, for the first 20 episodes or so there aren't even that many characters at all. There's a few here and there, but mostly it's just Scott with some friends joking around. There's only been a few I've really liked so far, but I've heard it starts getting great and becomes an amazing mess.

"Hey, no disrespect but I don't respect you." This episode is gold.

He's kinda circled back around as a host, but in a funnier way-- in that in the earliest episodes (I think I've heard the first 6 or 7, then I'm spotty from there through like 100) he's sloppy at interviewing and now he has a purposefully messy and ludicrous interviewing style.

I'm up to 18 and still waiting for it to come into its own. But it will be worth it eventually, I'm sure.

Looking forward to Tompkins appearing regularly which seems to be quite soon after this point going by the wiki.

So according to Sean on the HH forums, this week's guest is Goldie Hawn. If that happens, this week's HH could be really interesting...

In the spirit of your endevour I've started to do the same. First time I've went through the feed and only listened to episodes with people I know and like. Of course over the course of this list grew so it's great to hear the first times these people were on the show. The above mentioned episode really is incredible. I like how Jerry stays serious/concerned throughout the show.

I like how the old shows being streamed live, means that it regularly has guest hosts taking over, when Scott can't make it. Also it leads to almost always someone walking into the studio when they're late! :D

It's also kind of funny seeing a lot of stuff they wouldn't even come close to doing today. Speaking of the very next Cyber Thug episode.

The first Cyber Thug episode I almost think Scott is still in the room. I swear it sounds like him laughing a few times and it almost sounds like him doing the voices for Bobby B's posse.

I adored it. Starr is always a weird presence but I enjoy him, and between Kumail, Middleditch and Joey Tortellini I had a good time. Can't wait to experience the beginning of Jarles's story after hearing this, Memento-style. And the definitely offensive calls to China at the end had me crying laughing, especially at Kumail trying to get the joke to stop and the failure tohang up bit

Yeah I liked this one too. Pretty funny/weird character. I am so glad PFT's character didn't stick around though

That would have gotten tiring pretty fast.

I liked the character of Tortellini a lot, but it seemed like it took a while to get into the funny stuff and some they didn't follow up on. Just seemed like a lot of down in between the ups. It was ok, but didn't love it.

I really liked this CBB episode. Everyone was really engaged and having fun. I felt like Middleditch killed it, as Joey Tortellini and his horribly racist Chinese accent were amazing. Most importantly, this was a completely new dynamic. Two people who aren't on the show that often and one first-timer who was also the character guest. To be honest, I was not excited when I saw PFT on the guest list on the webpage, as I just have really bad PFT fatigue (he is great and all but he has just been on too much for me). So when he left and Thomas started getting really engaged and doing his character work I really liked it.

Got this in the mail today:

Looks better in person than it did on the site. Very nice.

They also added the word "just" to make it "motherfuckers just wanna laugh". Not the direct Harris quote but the point is still there.

Aww, shit. I've been waiting on my Harris shirts for weeeeeeks. Hopefully it comes soon. They really ought to have put some sort of date on the preorder pages...

Guys, I felt really swindled during this week's Hollywood Handbook. That said, I think Scuzzman sounds pretty cool. I might try this "beer" now.

Hopefully Haye's trip back from the moon will go ok.
