The three choices for the group stream are Might No. 9, E3 Game of the Show Awards and Live E3 Trailer Scores.

I think they could do all three within 2 hours. Play 10 mins of Might No. 9, then rate 10 trailers that are roughly 3 mins long [30 mins] and then have 80 mins of awards which might be too much.

Yeah, vote for trailers. We might get some good critique of how things were announced instead of the announcements themselves.

I can probably tell you what most of their awards would be.

edit:

Assuming prior "must be playable" rule is true

Game of the Show:
Zelda

Best PS4 exclusive:
Horizon Zero Dawn

Best Xbox Exclusive
We happy few or Gears 4. (not sure if we happy few is exclusive)

Most disappointing:
ME4 (brandon would push for star wars, but the rest for Mass effect)

Best conference
Sony

Most disappointing conference
EA

Best Multiplayer
For Honor (B1 a close second)

Best VR
Probably Batman of what they saw. might be RE7

Best Trailer:
Zelda

(No idea of other categories besides Genre ones)

Cool, sounds like some good discussions around those games. Voted for E3 awards.

Voted for trailers, sadly it seems it's not gonna win.

I mean, we already got hours and hours of game impressions but not that much talk about the trailers themselves.

Most of them are rather open minded and with very broad tastes in games. Kyle for example isn't really into online competitive games and shooters, but he seemed interested in Battlefield.

But since it's fun to put people into boxes!

Kyle: Pokemon, Tetris and mostly everything Nintendo. Went hardcore with avoiding spoilers for Metal Gear and The Last Guardian.
Brandon: Everything Disney and anything open-world. Designated person for toys-to-life games.
Ben: Persona, Final Fantasy, JRPGs, strategy games and anything Hideki Kamiya
Bradley: Persona, Final Fantasy, JRPGs, Soulsborne, Overwatch and Kingdom Hearts
Ian: Soulsborne and puzzle games, strategy games
Damiani: Zelda and Final Fantasy XIV
Bloodworth: is forced to play driving games
Don: Just creates levels and gambles
Huber: likes everything except Final Fantasy VII

Kyle and Bradley are on blackout for FFXV right or do I have that wrong?

Haven't clicked through to the actual Patreon post but the poll link is at the bottom of the email corresponding to the This Week on Twitch post.

Kyle and Huber are, not Brandon.

I meant Bradley but I was still wrong from the looks of it.

I don't think Brad is on blackout as he went to the Uncovered event which Kyle and Huber didn't watch/stream because they were on blackout. He might be on it now though lol, I'm not sure but I doubt it.

They also have to record an hour+ long EZA Podcast and an hour+ long Brandon Plays Pokemon

They're doing a lot as it is

I'll take a guess that Brandon plays Pokemon isn't happening again this week. Even if he had time to play, his hands would have been so greased that he would have dropped his 3DS.

How frequently are we getting new Game Sleuth episodes?

No specific time table, but maybe around ~1 a month on average(give or take a few weeks depending on other crazy stuff like E3/etc)? Don't quote me on that.
What they confirmed is that at any given time the next episode is in production, they take a lot of time to thorough research.
