Or probably is a newer build… Who knows.Seems to look and run significantly better than we had been led to believe.
Buddy you see that resolution?Seems to look and run significantly better than we had been led to believe.
It doesn't look bad but that area is hardly taxing. Should have at least shown the fight with Agheel.
Buddy you see that resolution?
I'm watching a guy cut down a 'souls-like' enemy like a knife through hot butter. Looks totally playable.Buddy you see that resolution?
Its reassuring to hear that its a lot better but FromSoftware have there own part to play in this, giving the rather hyperbolic reactions some people are having to the Switch 2 recently, demoing a poor preforming version at gamescom might not have been the best idea. This was at fan expo
So likely different build
But a good reminder on why most devs have stopped doing demos of their games, look at the internet overreacting over a game that still didn't have a release date. This video will get a lot less traction than the click bait articles IGN made
Also, while footage quality sucks, there's impressions from peoples there

Is it? From what I remember it's mostly traversal stutter and a lot of it got fixed if you run mod engine. Steam Deck didn't have the traversal stutter but it instead struggles when it's raining or if you pull a lot of mobs or fights with lots of particles like Agheel. No, it's not the worst performing but Limgrave is in the higher tier of performance taxing in the game. The other places that are worse are often with weather effects such as the snow mountains or the Crumbling fatum azula (sp?)
Pretty much everyone with lower spec rigs question the game performances right off the bat in Limgrave
it doesnt look any worse performance wise than your usual from game on any system really, aka shit, altho the footage is really bad quality, 720p and 30 fps

Well what can you do about it? Nothing really. It is what it is, from will never gonna make good performing gamesAnd yet people still enjoy the game... almost like performance/frame-rate doesn't actually matter nearly as much as some would have us believe.
Would IGN just go and create a fake clickbait article??
Never played that, sounds like some anomalyExcept Armored Core 6, that ran good. First 120 fps From game.
I was expecting a slideshowWould IGN just go and create a fake clickbait article??
I did that with DS1… And have more than 300 hours in the series X version of Elden Ring… Going to wait for the final verdict of the performance before pulling the trigger.Looks fine to me. Fuck me. I'm triple dipping, aren't I!?
I kinda like that AR for some reason. At least enough to want to plat it like that for a bit to see if it suffers someway. Color me interested! I'm just so tired of 16x9 bros. I want to go taller as soon as I can.Awful. The game runs at 3:4 ratio like CRTs.
I've 100% Elden Ring and the DLC on both PS5 and Series X.I did that with DS1… And have more than 300 hours in the series X version of Elden Ring… Going to wait for the final verdict of the performance before pulling the trigger.
I played the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions in their quality modes exclusively. Give me visuals before frames 100% of the time.Looking around the video and going frame by frame couldn't find any duplicate frames so it's at least always at 30+FPS, would have been better if the video was 60 FPS.

Everyone Who played at gamescom said It ran like shit. It ain't IGN making stuff up
It's almost like rage bait makes money online in 2025…Judging by IGN it was a 5 fps slideshow. Looks very good here. So tired of the constant FUD around Switch 2.
