Except the lyrics aren't nonsensical. It's about him being bullied in school and it's kind of an anthem to the outcasts and children that feel alone - for them to be proud of themselves and for what they are; "to stand up and be heroes".

And then he just repeats the last part ad infinitum till you forget what it was all about. That tune is all about the melody and stage-performance. Nothing wrong about that, but it got old towards the end.
