I didn't plan to but I might just for the heck of it. Also the protagonist being silent in these games really makes me wonder why they don't just allow people to create their own character.

I think this is for a couple reasons:

1. Soejima(the art director) likes designing a specific character to be the MC. They're supposed to fit within the game and have their own style.
2. The protags, though silent, do actually have their own personalities. You can tell from their dialogue choices. So they're designed to be a bit more than just a silent character.

Also plz finish the Nanako and Dojima links. Two of the best in the games.

ALSO also, watch Gurren Lagann you jerks.

Haha yeah, the P4 protag is more of a blank slate than either of the P3 protags. They both have pretty clearly defined personalities.

And that nurse being the Devil arcana is too perfect.

I wouldn't call it hard but it is hot bullshit. Basics of how it works:

Spoiler

Your SP halves after every fight. All of your normal equipment is taken away, you find temporary weapons and armor in treasure chests. All of your items aren't usable. You have to pick up specific SP and HP recovery items in the dungeon. You can collect Branches to warp back to the entrance to pay the Fox to recover your SP too.

Best way to mitigate the SP crap is to have a Persona with Spell Master andCool Breeze plus Rise's ability "Rise's Song." I think I used Trumpeter for it, taught him Spell Master with a skill card.

Years ago I went to the Red Bull FlugTag event in Portland. Same concept, but they build "flying machines", I say that very loosely and fly off a ramp into the bay. Some incredibly creative people it's fantastic.

I was only like 16 or something I'd love to build one with a group of friends.

Hmmm, I think I was using Trumpeter by then. Otherwise maybe Thor or Tamlin would be good.

Have you been going through the past dungeons to fight the optional bosses? You can access them by talking to your teammates in the TV hub world(ex talk to Kanji to go back to the bath house). Benefit of this is Golden Hands spawn more frequently and you're pretty much guaranteed a level per fight because they drop so much XP. And you're a high enough level that you can breeze through these dungeons for some easy levels and optional boss fights.

For Golden Hands it's useful to have a Persona that knows an Almighty spell like Megido, Megidola, or Megidoloan. So you can either fuse one for yourself or just bring Naoto along. TaoTie has Megido, Trumpeter has Megidoloan. Here's a pretty good reference for fusion recipies!

Even more Golden Hands spawn when you go through the dungeons a second time if you can come up with a method to reliably kill them you'll gain tons of levels.
