Which model LG you looking at?
If the res it really high, you could always run games at lower resolution, like 1920x1080.

Cause having a big screen is always nice, and being at 1920x1080 isn't bad.
Console people play games at a lower res,
and they're generally using a TV which is bigger, and they seem to be happy... ;P

Also, blended water might taste different...

Depending how clean the ice cubes are,
and also if the freezer is keeping them without odour.

There's also the possibility that the blades on the blender might not be clean.
Which could in fact change the flavour of the water. ;P

I went home so I'm not sure but in thinking 29" might be too much anyway.

Stephen just got a 24" for $140 so I'll probs do the same. It's an Acer. I'll check the specs in a sec since I've for his monitor ATM lol

With your video card, around 21.5" may be best the bet. It's not going to perform the greatest at 1080P, and definitely not beyond that.

Depends on the game, also, res can be lowered in game if it runs sluggish...
Actually, at $1000, you could probably build a better rig...

If you want Waz, with all the minds in here, we could price you out a desktop.
(since there's usually a 30 day return policy for your current desktop)

And if you need help building, it's easy. :p

I always go for native res, but lower the effects if I have to. Non-native resolution stretching/blur looks terrible. :( And yeah, I put my desktop together 4 years ago this July, and it's still running on fine. Just need to swap out the GTX 460 768MB for something else. For $1k, something custom would definitely be better. NCIX can even put it together for you, then ship it out to you, or you can pick it up at a store.

Aslong as you have the correct aspect ratio it won't look too bad, (albeit a bit blurry)
but yeah, native res is the best. (I always run native res)

I think NCIX charges $50 for putting the system together...

If she would want to go custom but is afraid to mess up, $50 isn't too bad, and it comes with a warranty I believe. She doesn't even need to spend $1k on a custom rig unless she wants to convert to the PC Gaming Master Race.

Yeah, not 100% sure about the $50, I think I saw that on an ad on their site once.
Though yeah, custom PC will save you money and you'll have a kickass gaming PC.

Also, you'll most likely get higher quality parts too...
HP cheaps out on some parts... (Although they have gotten better)

Also, with NCIX you can pricematch every single part.
I've saved $100's if not over a $1000 with all the stuff I buy there.

Just bought a sennheiser headset from them.
They're almost $300, I pricematched em to about $150... :p

Well it's not that I want them to diagnose me, I want them to at least confidently tell me that it's either YES that or NOT that. I have 10 years of "eh I don't know" behind me.

And basically I have a ton of problems with my connective tissue (joints/ligaments/etc). Went to see a Rheumatologist today (who's speciality is SUPPOSED to be joints/inflammation/arthritis". He basically just said "yeah you don't have arthritis that's all I can tell you I don't know more than that". no fucking kidding I know I don't have arthritis.

EDIT: Specifically looking for someone to tell me if I do/don't have Ehlers-Danlos or Marfan, if you want to know it exactly.

Shit that would suck. Can't even imagine how horrible it must be to go undiagnosed for so long. You'd think someone would go a bit more in depth to find the answers...

That sucks dude. Sounds pretty restricting to what you can do physically. Has there been any attempted treatment?

I'm supposed to do Physio, but it hasn't been much help.

I just avoid most sports and exercise now, honestly. Not a good solution but... yeah.

IF I were to pick up sports again, I'd probably need some kind of bracers/taping done beforehand.

There are organizations/associations in Canada about both those conditions, have you contacted them to see if they would be able to point you to real specialists? I hope this isn't intelligence-insultingly obvious advice.

So Fargo is a damn good show. Watched te opener last night. It really captures the movie atmosphere, maybe a too directly in places.
