Avatar shenanigans notwithstanding, that's a legit "sibling came into my room at the worst possible moment/would you please stop pestering me" kind of face.

Source: I have a sibling.

Can confirm. Have a sibling. Thankfully my other two siblings moved out.
Living alone is a Godsend. From walking in my undies the whole summer to cooking at 3am in the morning.

Zeemumu: you need to pm your cellphone number and international prefix so I can add you to the list. I'll do that first thing in the morning (I'm using a Whatsapp-less phone ATM).

My one sibling is heading back to college so I'll be alone with my parents. I'm kinda looking forward to it. He's been lingering around my room a lot and it's annoying af.

Also what's this whatsapp thing and why is it popular

FakeGAF, who do I play as for my new GOT CK2 run?

I've played as the Starks, obtained independence as both Ned's father and Robb, established a Targaryen dynasty twice (one through Aegon the Conquerer and another as Daenerys), and I just...want to do something new.

I'm considering the Baratheons, but I dunno.

Journey down the darkest path...Lannister.

I sent the info.

It's the most popular IM platform in the world. Has effectively destroyed texting in Yurop, Latin America and a good chunk of Asia. Facebook paid a few billions for it cuz. http://money.cnn.com/2014/02/19/technology/social/facebook-whatsapp/index.html

Also, nosy siblings are the worst.

Go for an underdog and play as the Reeds

Hell, I walk around in my underwear now and I don't live alone.

I'd be naked all the time if I did.
Then you'd discover the ugly truth know by all nudists: nut/ass/vag stank all over your chairs and sofa. Maybe skid marks, too.

I've liked the Martells since the latest season. Alas, poor Oberyn ;(

My brother's not nosy.

That being said, I feel we're at a point where we don't really keep much from each other anyway. Let him find the porn I downloaded. IT DOESN'T MATTER.

I'm tempted to power through game of thrones to catch up in the show. The original idea was skipping all of the episodes that I read in the books, which would catch me up, but now I feel like that's cheating and am sending myself back to episode 2 of season 1 because that's where I decided to skip the episodes where I already knew what happened.

It diverges more and more as the seasons go on.

Season one is the most faithful adaptation. After that, everything starts getting reworked. Season two is largely faithful to ACoK. Three and four are their own thing overall tbh. Major plot points are kept but so many other things are changed. It's like a new series.

Not bitching about it either. Just saying.

I wonder if it diverges as much as The Walking Dead. That breaks off at the end of season 1, then gets back on track in season 2 and 3, then Season 4 just goes off on its own tangent.

From what I can tell, at least the general plot of GoT remained the same.

Besides one particular atrocious scene I'm absolutely fine with GoT kind of doing it's own thing for the show...... so far.

So I'm going to a funeral on Saturday, which is also my birthday. :(

My condolences to you and your family.
Ugh, spending time of your birthday at a funeral is really unfortunate I'd imagine. :/

Yeah, characters die that don't in the book and so on. It's really weird but at the same time keeps it interesting for people who already read the book.

I'd say season three, for the most part, is a solid adaptation of the first half of book three. They hit all the major plot points, at least. Of course, there are changes here and there, but it's not until season four that they seriously start to make some wacky twists and turns.

I was looking forward to it too. :(

You're probably thinking of another scene which while I didn't find it quite as good as the book's version, I thought it was fine.

I'm referring to GoT season 4 spoilers
the sept sex scene between Cersei and Jaime. It looks like a rape scene (lol fucking what) and it makes Cersei seem like a complete victim when in the book she's using sex to manipulate Jaime. It's out of character trash.

Which scene?

I don't watch the show and have finished book three, but spoil away. I don't care.

See above.

No that's the one.

Because in the book it's all gross and so very Lannister, I wanted to see reactions.

Thanks. It'll be tough, but on the bright side it's only half the day and I know he'll have wanted me to enjoy myself.
As long as you have still time to throw a party and all it's fine and dandy. Or you could do it on the day before, even though it's breaking traditions, your choice.
Same here. Glad I was drunk back then or I wouldn't have had the guts to keep watching,

Did anyone of you check on
Pedro Pascal's
twitter account after Episode 8 (of Season 4) aired? He talked about how he had a
splitting headache. Made me laugh and forget about my grief for Oberyn.

Pretty awkward scene.
Especially since
they're building up Jaime so well.
Still, love the show. :p

OMG, I just found out my shorts have a HUGE rip on the back side.
I've been riding my bike through trails and streets just showing this to everyone.

Would have never known until my bro starting laughing and saying I made his day. :(

Just to clarify
I was talking about about the rape scene. Oberyn's death, while horrifying, wasn't an insult to everyone who enjoys the story and the author.

I found it amusing that the show just kept progressing like it didn't even happen, which it shouldn't have.
