Fantasy/sci-fi nonsense. Meaning of birth, cloning/genetic experiments, dragons sometimes but rarely, magic but subdued and not really a focus. Near future setting, so there's stuff like trains, future magic rugby, and kids going to college amidst all the knights and magical mumbo jumbo.
I liked what Game of Thrones had with the fantasy-but-also-grounded thing going on. In fact, I purposely took tropes like The Black Knight and tried to put a modern, more nuanced twist on them.

They're pretty dark, idk. They're so short because my brain never wants to go into any detail on them, not because the events are small in scope. Also known as being lazy and unable to focus for extended periods of time on a task.

The first step to countering feelings of loneliness or lack of motivation or whatever other negative thing you're feeling is to realize that you're your own enemy. You will always justify being a lazy person over actually doing good and productive things with your life
