I like the haircut joke at the beginning. With jokes, showing is much better than telling, so I would try to fit in another joke later rather than saying you're good at jokes when you get lucky. Humor is something where it's better to let others be the judge of its merit, especially as most people love humor but have a different taste in humor.
That's definitely my preference, but if big muscles make you happy then more power to you!
Also there are so very many variables when meeting new people, it's almost impossible to actually control it.
