Dude, don't even ask how much I spent on MMX3 and Earthbound for SNES. Earthbound especially since it was CIB with the strategy guide. Hash tag reenlistment bonuses. I swear I'm an adult.

I can only imagine. I knew that retro games were expensive but I didn't realize the full extent. They had a copy of MMX5 for $90

The place I go to has a case of super rare shit, they have a little Samson, campus challenge, and elemental gearbolt assassins case among others I lust for

when I was a kid I actually rented mega man x3 from blockbuster.

if I had a time machine I'd go back and just not return it. Think where I'd be now...

I used to own a copy of X5. But I have the X Collection now so I'm fine with it. I do still have the gold holographic Majora's Mask cartridge, but I'll never sell that.

Please desktop GAF work again I can't handle not having multiquote.

I passed on going up north with a couple friends for a BBQ to go to w housewarming get together tonight...that I now probably won't go to. I just want to relax for a night, was just out to lunch with some friends and walked around for an hour after.

multiquote works on mobile, it just works differently and worse. On desktop when you click the + it sends a pledge of intention to the GAF server. Once the server recognizes and logs this it sends a receipt of your pledge, after which point the + gets highlighted in the browser. Then whenever you go to the newreply.php page it polls the server for any pledges and adds those posts to your draft textbox, and only clears the pledges when you submit a reply.

By contrast, on mobile all of the pledges stored locally (probably in javascript vars). Local vars are highly volatile and it's cumbersome to pass them from page to page to page, so they are only transfered when you hit the one of the reply buttons on the mobile page. This means multiquote works fine as long as you're only quoting from people on one page. Generally to get around this I'll long-press the next-page button to open it in a new tab and start a second queue of quoted posts there, then copy one of my two drafts into the textbox of the draft in the other tab.

I'd cut out the self depriciating shit, other than that looks alright.

Going to take the dog to the park, mow the lawn and then head to the pub for pints and fights, watch Jones return in a squash match.

EDIT

One thing I will NEVER do is dissuade people from drinking tequila sunrises.

As much as I've liked what JR has done (besides the desires trade) I never expected that the team would be this good this year. Most exciting team I remember with the penguins. Much better than a top heavy team that we've had for the last 20 years since they got rid of the old cup depth for financial reasons

As much as I tell myself I will continue to be responsible and healthy once I get my kidney transplant... Pretty much one of the first things I want to do is have a beer.

I also have my first meal planned. These are all things I can't have currently:

Oh I know how to circumvent it (opening tabs) that's just too much work for me. :p I tend to catch up on every page, so to have that many tabs open is way too much of a hassle.

Also that link leads to the same error on mobile for me.

Wait it's already been 3 weeks since official oh wow time flies pretty soon there's going to be an anniversary holy moly.

Kids loved Princess Mononoke.

I swear to god this happened.. After the movie, one of my nieces, the older one, who is newly 11, made this observation:

"The movie was good because it didn't really have any badguys."

I'm so proud. These are the smartest kids.

Fuck Disney and their brain mushifying tripe and sterile CG characters and blandscapes.
