Yes, I rest my palm on the table and then move my hand from that pivot point. Most of the work is done with my fingers.
I've heard that greater control can be had by not resting on the table and using the forearm to control, but who has time for that.

I just played the new FFXV demo. It had zero context and made zero sense, but it was the prettiest thing I've ever played.

I feel like a philologist right now. My boyfriend wanted to help me develop this language I'm working on but his knowledge of other languages is pretty scant, making it hard for him to assist in any significant way, so instead we ended up watching a few episodes of WKUK and making out. I love that he's trying to be so supportive of my creativity but it's cramping my style more than not. I'm sure I'll figure out a good balance in the future.

Now I'm staring back at this linguistic monster and mastering declensions, tenses, roots, synonyms, et cetera. I still don't know why I'm doing it except that I'm having fun with it. There's not going to be any big Fez-style puzzle or reveal for whoever cracks the language. Probably just a bunch of tomes and names for places and weapons that might as well be random.

For some reason I'll go through phases where I for whatever reason find comfort in some particular podcast episode or review show or whatever and just listen to the same exact thing on repeat for a day -- Or days -- And I don't understand why. There must be something about my brain that is tickled by something that I can't identify, or I just prefer something familiar for some reason to things that are new.

I'm still bitter about Kesler. I was so excited to get my first Kesler jersey and I finally get it only for him to get traded a couple months later. I should have picked Burrows. :(

Also I'll never forget when trade rumours were happening and I was forced to see Tub Girl as a trick that Kesler got traded. Kesler y u cause me so much pain? Ducks better lose.

Just found out that we're going to sit in a train...for 16 hours...without lunch and dinner...motherfuckers. It's like Chinese don't have a fucking clue how to organize anything. For comparison: Traveling from Shanghai to Beijing with speed train is around 5 hours. Henan province is closer to Shanghai than Beijing to us so if those 16 hours are true it means we're going to spend the night on the very same bloody uncomfortable benches migrant workers and farmers use for traveling during CNY. Fuck Fudan University, one of the three most prestigious universities in China my ass.

There was this time I went on a 12 hour train trip. It was absolute, utter misery. Never again.
