Thanos acquires the fully powered Infinity Gauntlet in The Avengers: Infinity War, but loses when all the superheroes team up together to stop him.
My room is far too hot for sleeping in

Does anyone want to come here and try to cool me down? I have no suggestions for how, pls come up with ideas yourself thx

Happy weekend! :D

sitting here in my room alone on a gorgeous day. Watching Pretty Little Liars and drawing a picture of the sky.

I want to get into a series that I know very little about (preferably an old one) but I want one whose older games still hold up. Any suggestions? I'll make a thread as well.

What did you grow up on so we can know what to avoid suggesting?

What are you already doing about it? Room fans? AC?

deadass is a dumb word
I deadass agree with this

show us the picture!

I will. It's only a quarter of the way done though.

Lol air conditioning in England

I don't have a fan, but I opened the window like 10 minutes ago. It seems to be slowly helping

Is that because it's so cold so often? If it gets this unbearably warm then there should be a solution.

Getting room fans to work well is more about understanding circulation than pointing it right at you, which I'm sure is annoying anyway if you don't have your hair tied down. Also shed the clothes.

Most Nintendo IPs, survival horror, good Genesis platformer and shitty PS1 platformers, racing games, and FPS games

Oh, if you only played the shitty PS1 platformers then you have to give Crash Bandicoot and Spyro a try. Those still hold up quite well and I play through them reasonably often still. Except feel free to skip Spyro 3. That one was a serious misstep.

My girl has been making me watch this with her and I think we are on season 2. I honestly have no clue what's really going on lol

Oh. Really? I feel like it's pretty easy to follow. The only confusing parts are the intentionally mysterious parts, like did Ian actually die and who is/are A, and what's Nolan North doing in this show, et cetera.

I wouldn't say cold so much as just kind of grim and overcast. There's a joke that we only get 2 weeks of summer every year >_>

My problem with fans is they never feel like they're really cooling the room down. At best they're just making my arm or head cold >_>

I've only ever had a fan not annoy me once, when I was in Spain last year. God that was hot.

Those are the exceptions (also I completely forgot to mention those when I made that post :p)

When I got my Playstation I didn't have the money to constantly buy games so most of my library consisted of games that I rented, and since people usually rented the good ones before I did, I'd get stuck with a lot of shitty ones...I mean A LOT, lilith.

Also I'd have to stop Spyro at Year of the Dragon and Crash at Twinsanity

I apologize if I pissed you off. I didn't mean to imply that Crash and Spyro were bad.

Wellllllll to be fair I'm not paying as much attention as I should lol. We're past the Ian thing I think and no idea about A lol but they a bitch

Fine I'll come freeze you too. Freezing extremities for everyone!

Did you play the Parasite Eve games?

Twinsanity is actually my favorite Crash game, and should they continue or reboot the franchise it's the direction I'd like them to push into.

Right, suggestions. There are lot of old PC games still worth trying. The original Thief trilogy, for example. Not a series, but Vampire: The Masquerade is a great RPG. Star Control II is sort of a proto-Mass Effect which I remember fondly.

Oh. I get totally wrapped up in the drama, but different strokes for different folks!

I miss the rain

Were you deployed down in Africa?

I'm not big on the Crash games that come after Twinsanity. That's why I'd have to stop there.

As for Spyro, do you not like Year of the Dragon because it's gimmick-ridden?

Were you deployed down in Africa?

It's gonna take some time to do the things she never had

If by gimmicks you mean the alternate player characters, yeah, that's the primary thing I dislike. Each of them are half-baked and too dissimilar from Spyro's controls. Spyro has a lot of good gimmicks. Super flame, charge ramps, flying, spring gates — those all complement the base gameplay and are well-developed. Hell, Twinsanity is full of gimmicks and I love it for them. Crash 2 also has a lot of really good gimmicks.

I'm also not too keen on the world design in three. To be fair, Ripto's Revenge started the path to silly and inconsistent world design, but Year of the Dragon took another couple steps down that road and it rubbed me the wrong way.

This is what I do when there is plenty of fruit and I dont want it go to waste and the weather is hot as fuck

I imagine this would look more appetizing if the green cup didn't turn it a sickly shade.

The deal is I watch this with her and she'll watch GoT which she hates or at least claims to

Ah. I can't help you there. I love both shows but also understand why others wouldn't. My boyfriend won't watch PLL with me but that's okay because there are plenty of shows we mutually enjoy, and I need something I can watch by myself for when he's not here.

Those and the skateboarding levels

I think I have a soft spot for Crash Bandicoot Warped because I liked Tiny. N.Gin freaked me out because I never fully understood what the hell happened to him.

Girl messaged me last night suggesting Monday, so I'm leaning towards Fridays forgotten appointment as being legit.

Anyway, Saturday morning, house is clean, washing is hung out, the dog has been taken to the park.

Time to get wavy and play all these sweet sweet videogames.
