I like The Wolf Among Us more than TWD but I think it has to do with the IP behind it. TWD is a popular comic, show , etc. and the same applies to Game of Thrones and Borderlands. TWAU for most people they dont know anything about it so they kinda go for the thing they know more. Still the game performed well in sales so Im at least happy it did well.

I really liked the noir feel and the drastically different personalities of the characters, and even though Bigby was basically just a gruff Wolverine type, I thought it was cool that he's technically a wolf. You're playing as a detective wolf. And not just a regular wolf. The Big Bad Wolf. That's amazing! It helps that I have a bias towards recreations of fairy tales.

Yeah, really enjoyed TWAU, it's free with Gold this month so hopefully more people play it.

The Wolf Among Us is currently the best of Telltale's games. (Haven't played Tales from the Borderlands yet. Or TWD S2.)

I just really want a Wolf Among Us 2 because that ending was a bullshit cliffhanger. This isn't Half Life, you fucks.

I liked Borderlands but never finished it cause I didnt have people to play with on 360. I got Borderlands 2 on PC and basically haven't played it cause I remembered I dont have people to play with and I would get bored eventually.

Have any of you people tried this new VR trend? I have this morbid curiosity about it but I suspect it's gimmicky bullshit and I'm not about dropping hundreds of dollars on nonsense.

I've had some experience with it. Google was giving away Star Wars Google Cardboard's for free some time ago, so I managed to snag one and downloaded the apps to use it on my phone. It's a really fun gimmick. Tried some setpieces (on top of a mountain, dinosaurs, etc.) and a VR horror game.

I also got a little curious and took a look at the virtual porn when that thread came up. I'm not sure what to think of it. It's weird.

Whether any of the upcoming crop of devices are a hit or not, vr is here to stay. Not a gimmick.

Bloody Mary's my favorite urban legend so I thought it was really cool to have her included in the story. I liked both of her designs. They integrated that mirror dynamic pretty well. I liked how you could hear glass cracking when she moved, and how Jersey was basically what people think of people from New Jersey.

I knew shit was gonna get fucked up when Blood Mary called Bigby's mother a wind whore.

One local thing to my area is that there was a woman named Mary black who we sorta merged with bloody Mary. I can't remember all the details but she was murdered or something.

Once when I was cleaning the basement of the local historical society I found her gravestone sitting in the corner

I would've quit my job if I had seen that.

My favorite quote from her in the game was that monologue that she gives Bigby on who she is when she first shows up. Apparently the mirror thing is just her hobby.

Universal Studios had an interesting take on the character for one of their Halloween Horror Nights themes. In their story she was a psychiatrist who used immersive fear therapy to try and cure her patients, and after one of her patients died due to the therapy she went nuts and started killing off her patients with treatments based on their fears. Eventually she was supposedly killed by one of her patients after they escaped but they never found her, just a broken mirror. The park was set up to have each maze be a twisted manifestation of each of her patients' fears. For example, there was a guy who was afraid of seeing monsters in his camera flashes so the maze was a zombie apocalypse that was illuminated by flash bulbs going off.

I think the only supposedly haunted area that we have close to where I live is this really sketchy canyon pass where there have supposedly been a lot of accidents. Kinda creeps me out because I used to go through that pass when there was traffic on the freeway. At night you can't see anything but the markings on the road so it feels like you're on Rainbow Road in the "there's a black void on either side of me" sense.

You should listen to Lana Del Rey Honeymoon or some Enya album. That fixes any sleeping issues.

I don't have sleeping issues. I'm changing shifts to mid shift, which is 10:30 pm - 7 am. So to prepare for the week ahead I need to stay up all night and pass out at like nine.

I see that shit sucks. I remember trying to adapt to the 12am -5am shift when I was at security when it was usually 7pm-12am. Sometimes the smallest changes in the routine can fuck up things.

That's a good sign, it means you've got the hunger to try new things now. What hobbies have you always wanted to do but couldn't (whether you felt like something was holding you back, etc)?
