I thought the dream sequence was real at first and that they'd both get blasted when they walked outside. Then the actual scene happened. I forgot to breathe during the last part of it. Love the way it was shot. Absolute brutality. And how they all just carry on with her body lying there gushing blood all over the floor like it ain't no thang. Really captured how callous and savage it all is.
Eventually.
I was surprised that they didn't have them already. I think I saw every Pop figure known to man at Wondercon. Once Upon a Time, Orphan Black, etc.

You want to keep the same style or experiment a little bit more? If you're goth enough look into some memento mori themes. Skulls, candles, watches, hourglasses, fading flowers can be done in a way that is distinct from the mainstream stuff you see nowadays.

The show's pretty much completely its own thing. The book provided the setting and shit. But from what I've read about the books other than that everything's different. There are characters in the show that aren't in the books and characters who are in the show and the book may as well be different characters with the same names.
The book is Mary Sue Twilight-esque love triangle trash. But she does end up with Bellamy I think.

probably one of the best shows on TV. it's a bit silly/ridiculous at times with what these superspies get away with, but it's dumb fun
