As for the whole love thing, I'm not really sure. I've only thought that I was in love once. I kept alternating between wondering if these were legit feelings or if I was just lacking so hard in close friendships/relationships in general that I couldn't tell the difference between being in love and being close. At this point I can tell the difference now and I'm sure that it was the latter. I'm not incredibly close with very many people, and I'm not sure if it's because they haven't given me a reason to feel close to them or if I haven't given them a reason to feel close. I think it's a little bit of both.
