Although multiple lightsabers do make for cool shit like this

the PT never thought to do anything cool like that with the idea anyway. The PT may have been technically proficient in certain ways but they were ugly movies, completely bereft of artistry in the framing and construction of their shots in almost all cases. one of the only examples of an even slightly cool shot in the PT was yoda in his pod thing in ep3

is that from the SWTOR CG trailers? if I recall correctly those were pretty well done and demonstrated an understanding of the material beyond what the PTs did (which isn't saying much)

That was mostly weird cause they made a big deal about the keyblade calling to people and it being able to be summoned and the part where Riku wasn't able to take the one from sora.

Yeah there's that whole "stronger heart" thing in the first one where Riku hijacks the keyblade. They do a sort of retcon later on by saying that Sora was never really meant to have the keyblade in the first place and that it should've been Riku, but since he jumped right into the darkness at the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 1 the keyblade said "fuck it, this guy's got Venn's heart in him. He'll do." and went to Sora instead. The series as a whole is leaning towards Riku becoming the strongest character and Sora taking a secondary position/possibly becoming a villain in KH3.

Gameplay-wise, Birth By Sleep is one of the better games in the series. Plus you can play as 3 different characters and each one has a different play-style and story.

Dream Drop Distance has the best intro, though.
