The crew seems to be taking this ghostly possession in stride.
For a second I thought Rei had just gotten bored by Shinohara's story and fucked off.
This recon subplot feels pretty rushed. I think the writers originally planned a tense, drawn-out scene where Shinohara got back just before the ship started to leave but had to cut it for time.
That battle was the hypest shit. The fighting, and the reveals, and using the WMG to propel the ship backwards and blow up the enemy core and fleet at the same time...So. Awesome.
It was basically a tease for the author's next story (Umineko), although the anime kind of messed up the tease (and the Umineko anime itself ended up pretty bad too).
Man I'm still not sure how I feel about Arise after the 2nd episode. Aside from Sawashiro voicing Logicomas my brain still goes "Wrong voice!" more often than not.
Kuroko's Basketball 2 Episode 34 I Will Defeat You!!
Intense and incredible episode that makes one wonder just how blind a manager can be or perhaps amazed at how they are able to position themselves to turn this into one of the most physical games of basketball to ever be conceived.
Two minutes at the start dedicated to going over last episodes flashback was a bit much but that scene never doesnt ever invoke feelings of pain.
Hanamiya does have a great voice (Jun F) and incredible character song.
That's true. The last couple of battles were cool, especially the first, but they all felt kinda like trivial encounters. Hope we encounter someone who's a real challenge for Shiroe so we can have an awesome strategy battle.
The first battles were necessary to put a better focus on the game mecanics ...because you need the viewer to be aware of the game mecanics to explain how you'll break them.
The logical conclusion is either to introduce more game mecanics or to break those mecanics in some way.
So far so good, nothing perticularly bad in the first 2 episodes just not as good as the 1st season. Episode 3 was great, finally get to see some Saori backstory! She is definately my favourite character in this and I'm glad she got an episode to herself eventually.
Steins;Gate Movie
Wow. That was pretty good. The sense of hopelessness was really profound
when Kurisu traveled back in time before Okabe disappeared and then, it increased when Kurisu got Okabe killed. Even though Kurisu was kept being led to complacency, something drove her back and those final scenes made me happy that there is some resolution to this love after the earlier events of this movie

Shaft could not have done a better job with adapting this and adding so much more.
The very end felt like a conclusion to the anime, which I can see being a possibility though I really hope it isn't though since Ume-sensei hasn't ended the manga yet and I would love the actual conclusion to be animated.
God I'm a mess right now, this was just beautiful.
I was pretty sure we would have taken care of this arc ( volume 2 ) in ep 9 but it seems that another episode is needed.
Anyway shiroe evil glasses mode was excellent ... The look on everyone faces when he annonced that was priceless.Too bad we don't have shiroe inner monologue , i guess if you want it you'll need to read the books ( DAT carefull planning )
Poor Harima-kun. Don't quit on your manga writing now dude. You're pretty good. And one day you could take down Kurasuma if you keep at it. And then you meet this hot babe and staying at her house not knowing what to do with yourself. And then you save Tenma's cat but she thinks you're a water nymph. Hopefully you can come out of all of this on top.
Least you don't have to pretend to like her curry.

Best thing was maybe it wasn't mono no aware porn (the PVs were a little misleading). It's nice to see creative staff who believe that the characters are strong enough to carry such an event.
An extremly refreshed anime graduation.

After going through the entire manga just recently I can say that the staff have made the anime so much better by lengthening chapters and/or adding their own creative direction to the show. It's befitting to have such an awesome adaptation for such a wonderful author like Ume-sensei.
Umineko is actually a great series with some amazing twists, surprisingly hardcore mystery aspects, and genius-level mindfuckery. Well worth checking out if you have the means. It's just a shame about the anime adaptation.
EDIT:
To elaborate a little, I think what happened is, people criticised Higurashi for "cheating" in its mystery by
including supernatural elements, and having the solution involve a fictitious disease that exists to serve the plot
. (For what it's worth, personally I don't think those elements hurt Higurashi, but I'm pretty sure they brought a fair amount of criticism upon it.)
Then Ryukishi's response to that criticism was Umineko, in which he:
tells a 100% super-hardcore mystery story (so hardcore that most of the solutions, including the identity of the ultimate "culprit", are never explicitly given, though the reader is provided with more than enough clues to work it all out and strongly encouraged to do so)
at the same time ALSO tells a
supernatural story
without affecting the integrity of the mystery (while intertwining the two so tightly as to confuse the heck out of everyone in the best possible way)
turns the entire thing into an examination of the true nature of mysteries and what it means to solve them
It's nothing if not ambitious, and I think it's really well done.
Of course, it's that very ambitious and elaborate nature that makes it such a bitch to adapt, and I'm not surprised the anime adaptation ended in failure =/
Tamako Market isn't getting a movie. They already previously announced that there would be a new project coming. They were just talking about the new project, which appears to be an OVA of some sort, but they said that it's going to be "like a movie" in terms of improved quality or whatever.
Good start to a new arc. Kanon is adorable. And Asagi continues to be best girl who clearly won't win although she totally deserves to.
Also I hope Yaze gets another chance to be the cool guy at some point. His short fight scene a couple episodes ago was pretty awesome. His powers remind me of the sickly dude from Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust.
This was a great episode actually. I really liked this sequence especially. So gooooood.
Also Majo Heart is going to be fun I bet. I like her grumpy stamp so much.
And Hana-chan is such an asshole. Much respect gained.
