It's a pretty silly headline since a lot of artists in Japan get their start in erotic content over there and it's not actually all that new for fighting games. In addition, it's for fucking Lost Swords, the 1-player fighting games no one cares about, lol

Yeah, I think a lot of people would be surprised on how many artists they're familiar with did stuff like that. Not exactly new.

it was really funny reading in the back of like every blade of the immortal volume in the interviews with the guy about how he really wanted to draw hentai but kept on doing blade of the immortal instead and one day dreams of being able to do that

like what

Nobody knows for sure. It could be that or it could be his very popular sponsor's fans mass voting him in. Chuchu was explaining how popular his sponsor was in Brazil and supposedly one of their esports personality also campaigned for him. The official reason for his dq was what you said, but there is some uncertainty.

Regardless of whether or not it was a reason for his suspension, it's clear there is a bot. He's still getting votes despite being "deleted" from the poll and that's enough to skew anything.

He just wants to live the dream.

Hope I don't sound mean or anything, but sounds like you need some more lab time. Also, there's almost no buffering in Xrd, so the inputs need to be on point. I believe it's being changed in the next revision though.

Potemkin heavily relies on matchup knowledge/prediction to win too. A lot of patience/reading involved. I suck at both, which is why I chose Millia. No reading/matchup knowledge involved. Just carry opponent to the corner and press buttons. Magic then happens.
I still lose

No, you're not being rude, that's exactly what is happening. I'm playing a weird slash/AC Game like it's 2003/2007 and not adjusting to the Xrd changes. Since I only have a couple hours of gametime per week I don't see this changing soon. With pot I rely on a good guess per round plus some neutral damage to win, no 6k loops at all. With venom I rely on my opponents trying to get out of my one ball mixups and getting maybe 5 counter hits per round since there are no more dubious curve loops and I no longer have carcass raid loops down. So I'm a casual now, pls don't hate :D

This. I follow the doujin scenes out of Japan for art and music. There are some stupidly talented artists that just happen to draw smut amongst other things(the artist from Blade Arcus is a perfect example), but end up doing work elsewhere. This is def not something new to come out of fighting games haha. Outfit looks hideous still. They were probably just amused at the thought so they made a headline out of it.

I did not expect to see Magnetro's name in a video clip today (if you don't know Magnetro btw you are missing out on some ridiculous MvC2 vids)

they got zone working on skullgirls

Haha I forgot this was a thing.

*Sees some talk about 02UM* Ah... Another version of the game that no one else won't play at Xanadu. It is quite strange that people on steam think that the pc version is any different from the 360 or original tougeki arcade version.

Max mode is a bit different from HD; normal damage is cut in half in max mode, charge moves become regular inputs during combos and only one sdm/ max# move can be used in per max mode usage.

Stock (or Meter) Consumption:
SDM: 1 stock
Max 1 or 2: 3 stocks
SDM super cancel (SC): 2 stocks
Max 1 super cancel: 4 stocks
Raw Max Mode Activation: 1 stock
In combo Max Mode activation: 2 stocks
Max Mode SDM: 0 stock
Max Mode Max 1 or 2: 1 stock
Max Mode SDM super cancel: 0 stock
Max Mode Max 1 super cancel: 1 stock

Which is really hilarious because Zone has done some outside "work" on Skullgirls and has a palette for Squiggly. Zone is really talented though, really surprised at how someone can replicate so many artstyles, that is some dedication. To be honest, if you probably want to find someone who likes to work and is driven to improve their art, someone who spends a lot of their own free time practicing drawing porn is probably a good bet.

No Aris?

Played my first set of Xrd in a bit. I seriously hate feeling like I'm stuck. I want to get good but I hate going 10-20 to some dumb shit like 40-50. I do start picking up things midway and apply them, but I just hate that lingering combination of the want to be good and feeling like your applied time playing the game and practicing gets invalidated every time you play the person who started the same time you did.

Hard to say because if you take out a normal without replacing it then you have a big hole in a character's arsenal.

I would say Zero's cr.H. He doesn't need that shit at all yet that move makes him insanely powerful and Zero players have just now started abusing it. It makes certain match ups like Spencer really difficult.

Zero's cr. H shuts wolverine up so bad, why even give a character a move that good? I need a damn beam assist (I wanna still play akuma) to even combat that BS. Justin's Storm does the job though.

I agree with this, the salt has gotten me to the point of wanting to break controllers.

hitstop lookin' like Pokken

hopefully it was exaggerated for effect in the trailer, KI style

You know, I share that sentiment, I hope SFV isn't slow or possibly clunky with how much hitstun animation there is.

They should bring Sean back in V and make his moveset completely based around his basketball.
Like he's always dribbling it. And his super or whatever can be him dunking on you.

Then they would have a reason to bring back hip-hop into the SF series!

What's so bad about Balrog/Boxer?

He always takes my fight money!

Most people didn't even know this game existed or paid any attention to the other tacky outfits made by other artists that were added to Lost Swords. Now others are picking up on this since the SRK clickbait article.

It's a mess.

Shoryuken, eventhubs what the hell is the difference

Fighting games make everyone feel depressed sometimes. We all have that day where we just say "why the fuck am I even doing this? I suck". I'm there in Smash right now, because Bowser just isn't paying off anymore as people learn the game on a deeper level. At least in Xrd, I know it's all my fault because my character is S tier. But struggling because your character sucks is extra sucky suck suck.

As is mine.
Conclusion: Q likes blocking for long periods of time.

Damn that sucks to hear about Bowser. I thought he was pretty refreshing to see doing well early on. :(

My dilemma is mostly what you're describing and a hint of feeling like for every one good play I come up with, there's hundreds of things I could do for consistency instead of moment to moment bursts and that just kills me on the inside.

Apparently there's some weird minor changes, like Robert can combo after MAX2 only on May Lee. Other than that it seems the same as 360

PS4 + free game + 6 months PS+ for 360 from a legit Ebay seller? Too good to pass up.

I'm going to be so free in GG.
To be fair, blocking for long periods of time is the main gameplan of q the character.
I thought the gameplan was to lose.

Maybe you guys would have more fun with those match ups if you were not all bad and wanted to always mash buttons.
Kappa

In all seriousness who the hell has fun fighting Chipp and Sol? :p
