Yeah. This isn't just old stuff. For some people in the FGC, it's prehistoric. This clip predates most of the people commenting on it!

I think I was on this episode of the show. I thought nothing of it then. It's a terrible joke, and I'd be irritated by it now, but these shows were made in the era where we all kind of wholesale bought into the FGC, with its shitty parts along with the good. Pretty confident in saying this isn't the Adam of today.

The difference between what happened with Aris and this video is Aris happened in real time. This is practically digging up ancient history. I like Aris too, but his level of mistake was observed by thousands of people actively watching a reality TV show which garnered several articles on various gaming sites.

There are very few people in this community I'm not a fan of, and those people are usually habitual fuck ups or toxic people. I've forgiven previous scumbaggery from people I used to not be ok with in the past as they grew up and matured. People do change and dredging up old shit like this is pretty much trying to assassinate the character of someone who did grow up, got a real job, and got married.

What happened to Aris is not applicable to this. Aris fucked up in real time and had to apologize for that. This is pulling a show from an era when everyone was practically just out of high school and trying to apply that to the matured adults today.

It's the typical garbage that you would find in the off-topic forums of SRK (in the period known as dark SRK). The forum had all sort of freaks posting around that time, some being incredibly sexist or racist (not to mention the trash talking was crazy over the top as newbies would keep their mouth shut in fear of being ripped to shred lol).

The craziness became incredibly stale in my eyes and fast, which is why I lost interest because of weekly asinine crap.
