def sounds like a rough break up, glad you got through it fam

Half the secret to success is surviving your teens/20s without doing something really, really stupid having the really, really stupid things you did get preserved for history.

Going from a SFxT pad to Hori's FC4 must be what it's liek playing on a square gate vs octogate stick lol

I hate how this community can be so toxic. A year ago someone created a fake account of my website and started sharing personal info/tweets/photos of people in the french FGC. Had to delete my twitter account and recreate it and go private. Lesson learned about sharing too much of my life on social networks but that almost made me stop everything and I took a step back into the community and work behind stages now. I find it very exhausting how people take things from years ago to attack you because you were wrong on some thing. Like for them, acknowledging you were wrong is a proof of weakness while for me it's not a problem to admit it and work to become better.

Why isn't it fair to ask?

Like, those Oklahoma kids...7 years from now it's going to be fair to ask "Hey, are you still a ridiculous fucking racist?" Right? Or are you saying that if one of them goes to make a fighting game and seems nice that question is off limits?
Actions speak for themselves. I find what that file is trying to do is similar to what happened to this guy: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/real-life-stories/run-37-years-bank-robber-5218046

Yeah, he did something bad in the past but he clearly changed and corrected himself within this long ass time.

Just look on this very board, people hate admitting they are wrong alot of times, like it makes them less of something. Its internet culture.

Whenever I read r/kappa I'm actually sort of glad that those people don't go to tournaments and just limit their toxicity to the internet

that applies to reddit in general too, I suppose

Something else I noticed is that according to the internet at large, it doesn't matter how long ago it was that you said or did something stupid, you are scum and irredeemable and are incapable of changing in any capacity for the rest of your life.

That's a very specific segment, the internet hate mob. Like how every thread about Adam Orth's new game wwill get hate posts over the comments he made & apologized for years ago.

I really do think a greater portion of people, the ones who aren't talking while the hate mob does their thing, appreciate it when people fuck up, own it, take accountability for their actions, and try to do better. Like some actor recently who made some nasty homophobic remarks when he was angry, then showed real remorse for it. People moved on. I think when you take accountability for your words, most people appreciate it.

But the hate mob will never let it go.

And of course if we're talking politics, then it's worth fuck all, because politics renders people inhuman.

With the nerf to Sak's j. HP, Dud's j. HK has to be the new GOAT. I have no idea what the frames are for this move, but's it's feels like DJ's knee shots in the sense that Dudley spends less time airborne when this move is active. The move is like a fucking dive kick. No wonder Dudley players are so quick to use it whenever you're in range for it. I've already given up trying to DP it because I'll either do it too late or it'll trade heavily in Dudley's favor.
It's the same air time as normal, but it hits really low like Vega's air normals so you can throw it out super early since it also causes a ton of hitstun.

Which one do you prefer so far, and why? My pref is the other pad, though I have real trouble doing long motions on a pad that aren't 360s.

Great tournament, Sanford looked good.
That picture is clearly weeb artillery. Tekken tag is really really complex...almost too complex really. Rad game though, don't think I'll ever stop playing it.
