Note: If you have an interest in discussing the Fighting Game Community, consider joining the Fighting Game Community thread where we try to talk about what is happening in the FGC.

As always, if you see an infographic for a FGC tournament, it was likely made by acekingoffsuit. The guy makes stream schedules for every major tournament and he does it for free. You can find his twitter account here: https://twitter.com/acekingoffsuit

Also, Malice215's FGC Calendar was used to help get more information on tournaments. Malice215 (also a gaffer) spends much of his free time maintaining the FGC Calendar His twitter is also here: https://twitter.com/fgccalendar

$2250 pot bonus for Soul Calibur V??? o___________O

NEC came out of nowhere for me personally, saw zero talk about it until a couple of days ago but that was probably just Capcom Cup swallowing up everything. Glad to see the turnout seems to be so great.

I totally forgot that the Tekken 7 world championships is also this weekend. Don't know if there's an english feed, but Markman will be in Japan for it.

Dorabang will be at NEC, but Kazunoko won't be. Still, rip in peace anime FGC. Always be free to Japan.

I'm sad I won't be able to attend NEC this year. I see it's in KOP too which was right down the street from me. Will stream monster and send my positive vibes.

Pot bonus for Marvel 3?

What year is this? LOL!

Anyway solid turn out for the game, looking forward to see Takumi face off against RayRay in the finals.

Markman and Aris will be doing commentary on the Tekken Twitch channel.

This is going to be the craziest Tekken 7 tourneys I've seen.

Looking forward to checking out some of the stuff this weekend. In UK so timings are a bit fucked for me but I'll try. Really want to check out the T7 stuff, see how that game is at this point.

I wish Kazunoko was going, but he has no reason to since America is free in Xrd, plus he home in Japan chillin with $120K.

NEC was announced months ago, but people usually don't talk about tournaments until the week before, so it sneaks up on people. And people usually come out to Big E tournaments for Soulcalibur, but now we're in the last days of SCV, so this will be the last big tournament until a new game is announced. Lots of talent from across the country and France in attendance.

Uh...there's no channel called nika_KO on Twitch. The link leads to a "This page could not be found" message.

I made a typo. Keeping track of all this stuff ain't easy. It's at twitch.tv/nica_ko

I should be there. Still on retirement.

Twitch.tv/tekken is the English stream for the event.

Also give a shout out to https://twitter.com/acekingoffsuit who usually makes the infographics for these events.

Gold Shad coming back for SC V this year I'm hyped. I think Partwolf if he brings out the algol will be one to look out for.

If I was him I wouldn't enter a tournament for the rest of the year. Even if he came to America and won Xrd easily(which has more money) but didn't win USF4 then a lot of people would say something like "America just bodied CapCup champ, hold dat". I wouldn't even touch USF4 for the rest of the year if I were him lol. I'd rather just end the year on a high note and let no one take away that feel from winning 120k.

I'm looking at the pools and there is barely anybody for any of the Smash games (or at least turn out is much lower than I would expect). Weird.

He's laid waste to the US before, so I'm sure that isn't a concern.

I've never been able to enjoy watching Tekken but Tekken 7 is a lot of fun right now. Not really sure what adjustments they made (or if it's really just Lord Aris' commentary that's so good) but I'm really enjoying this.

....I'm going to sleep, I'll just catch the archives later lol. Haven't gotten to see any Tekken tonight, I love the weird shit but I'm too tired to stay up right now.
