Edit: And now I find out Koto's shop has an exclusive faceplate...Hm, depends on Koto's price whether I'll switch or not.

I checked Koto US site and they don't even have Anzu listed yet. The figure is cute but I'm not sure yet about preordering... I'm hitting the brakes on unplanned preorders in general now because I won't have room for them.

Guys! HELP! :(

I woke up yesterday and my Play Arts Kai Solidus somehow fell down off his perch, and his right leg snapped off at the ball-joint thing.

wat do? :'( He's my fave MGS character, too. Ughhhhh.... >_<

brb using imagination since no pics

(you can probably glue it, if nothing else, but hard to say without seeing what happened)

Still not sure if I want super sayian Ryuko, but it looks promising...

Yep, that's Kill la Kill all right.

For those who paint their own models/garage kits, what kind of paint do you use?

Would this work on PVC? http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/17ml-black-model-color-343913/

That's what I use, if you remember my painted resin heads, Vallejo's my favorite brand, super fast drying, excellent color range, great prices. I even started using the paint in my watercolor paintings because they were so nice...

If the joints aren't broken then you should be able to snap them back together. If the pieces are broken/smashed then all you can do is glueing them back together and say goodbye to ever moving that piece again.

I don't know.

EDIT: Aww, she is uber expensive now.
She is worth every penny.

I use vallejo paints on miniatures all the time, they're really good, My advice would be to thin them quite a lot with water, especailly if you're going to be brush painting onto broad areas. Lots of thin coats are the way you want to go otherwise the brush strokes will be visible and look bad. Also you're going to want to prime the surface you're painting so that the paint adheres well and evenly.

nice.

“Sword Art Online II” Sinon 1/7 by Aquamarine on preorder
Aquamarine officially opens pre-orders today for their “Sword Art Online II” Sinon figure, which is sculpted in a 1/7 scale by Satoshi Toda standing 21.5 cm tall.

Phantom Bullet Arc’s heroine Sinon is posed with her scarf blowing in the wind, while she holds her sniper rifle, as she marches to the battlefield with a fierce expression on her face. The figure has a quite realistic look, very different from many interpretations by various companies of the “Sword Art Online” character, thanks to Satoshi Toda’s style.

Listed for a price of ¥13000, “Sword Art Online II” Sinon 1/7 scale figure by Aquamarine is scheduled for release in July 2015.

Utaha Kasumigaoka (Sneak Peek)
Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

A rather personal thing to start off with, but let me just say that Aki-kun is most definitely my type! (And just in case anyone was wondering, I mean Aki-kun from Saekano, not the CEO of Good Smile!)

Anyway, today I’ll be taking a quick look at…

The 1/7th scale…

Utaha Kasumigaoka!☆
o0515070013247519766.jpg

From the anime series ‘Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend’ comes a 1/7th scale figure of the top student and up-and-coming novelist Utaha Kasumigaoka-senpai!The figure is based on an illustration by Kurehito Misaki, the original character designer of the series – it features Utaha right the middle of getting dressed, and has been sculpted and painted with great care to ensure it captures the charm of Utaha-senpai from the original illustration. Obviously all the areas that were never visible on the illustration have been carefully considered and added on to the figure, allowing fans to enjoy the lovely pose from any angle they please!
And for Freezasaurus:
Prison+School+anime+adaptation

Being accepted as one of five boys at an otherwise all-girl boarding school sounds like a cream dream come true, right? But this scandalous setup of the manga Prison School proves to be a nightmare when the Secret Student Council jails the boys for breaking school rules. See them take their sexy, humiliating and hilarious punishment like men when the anime adaptation starts this summer.

Been putting this off forever, but I'm finally getting ready to list my first batch of figures I'm selling off on Sideshow Freaks, doubt anyone here is interested in them but I'll post the pics I'm using to show the figures regardless:

And for Freezasaurus:

God I can't freaking wait.

Also, Baka, your package hasn't left the local post office for some reason after giving it to them Friday, so I'm looking into it now.

EDIT: Post office says they shipped it but might not be scanning it for whatever reason. Keep a look out for it, and I'll keep you updated via PM.

GSC moving quick on that sword son money. He's really cute, I like how they colored his eyes.

Yeah that looks great, what's he from?

Dang, I actually think this looks really cool:

Almost 9k though O_O

That does look great! Love to see more out-there styles represented. What's that from? (lol being into games but not anime leaves me lost all the time in this thread)

Okay, I really need to know who's taken over painting at GSC or what different method they're using. These latest batch of figures look simply fantastic.

sword boys taking over~

especially with that quality, I wouldn't mind getting them even if they aren't my favorite characters

Oh, figures. It will take more than cute boys to tempt me to the F2P side!

yeah, but they are really pretty

and there are a bunch of them

and they sometimes get clothing damage~

Nendoroid Petites, a little smaller than normal nendos and fewer joints and parts.

Yeah, I've seen those before, which is why I wasn't sure. But I've also seen full size nendos on super small bases for photos, not sure what they do there. Maybe they glue them to the bases for nice photos for all I know.

It can get in line with Senran Kagura New Wave in terms of neat things I can't get into because F2P. Maybe I could get a figure and forget there's any sort of game attached though

That's either 1. a prototype that's usually attached with a pole in the foot. 2. an old style nendoroid stand.
