Yeah. Definitely better looking then the regular Pops. And I TOTALLY agree with your assessment. Blind box and cost is crazy. It's why I've stayed away from them. But now having one in hand... I think I'll get rid of my wave 1 and 2 of the regular Pops and see if I and snag most of these instead. Some are going for crazy prices though (Jamie Lannister $100+)

I wish you luck in this endeavor if you go through with it, never saw the appeal in regular pops, but these small ones have the character and personality the regulars lack.

Yeah, they're plastic kits. Each piece is gonna be colored plastic, so you don't have to paint it if you don't want to, but it won't look like the pictures you see.
Pretty sure that was what was warned here when they were revealed.
Edit: Yep, this is and idea of how she will come, except according to Koto her face will be prepainted (colors of plastic will be brown, not blue).

My first Amiami order finally came in.
There are some obvious crappy paint spots on her but for the cost I can let it go. There is a lot of detail in the sculpt. Really happy since my MH3U character used the Barioth Armor for a long time.

Hmm if that's the case (her face painted) I might keep it. I have a buddy who loves to airbrush train models. He might give her armor a go and make it look better.
She is rather cheap anyways.
