I'm thinking of taking on Aigaion and I'm wondering who would be the best healer to take for this and how do I use Ling as a mana battery? Last time I tried to use her as a battery, she kept running out of MP.

I'm thinking my group will be:

WoL
A2
Rikku
Ling
(some healer)
Friend Unit: Wife's 2B

Gotta figure out this healer business, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have Tilith (but not sure I have the gear to get her massive amounts of MP), Y'shtola, Refia, Rem.

No, don't use any for now... not sure how well you'll do on the raid, but we still have a LOT of time left on it. IF you don't finish AFTER the raid is gone, sure knock it out. Doing it early, will just make you kick yourself for every single extra you get after completing it.

2B's spear move that can do either 1 or crazy amount of damage to machines, will be fixed next maintenance.
People (myself included) took advantage of this to get all Aigaion rewards.

Double Luneras are the best thing ever!

So fun, and you never have to worry about stupid 100% evading units, counters, or not black magic weeks, or no dual casting weekly restrictions, etc.

Every week, fast and quick, you only need to worry about 100% alll elemental resistance units.

PHY evasion will be countered with the new weapons that have innate accuracy and MAG evasion won't really be a thing unless Gumi invent some exclusive stuff for us. PHY and MAG mitigation will be a thing though, but the AI won't ever be able to coordinate all the necessary skills to make it a problem.

What you really should be afraid in the future is freaking CG Fina spamming that disgraceful LB every fucking turn. DV is already a problem with his 4x AoE attacks but it seems people really don't care about using him here, I lost count how many times I lost on JP to CG Fina + DV teams.

No. But I don't recall her wielding any elemental weapon.... Let me check. Either way, Spear still works when it goes off for the WTF kill. Been using her this afternoon for Raid with no issues. (And whatever she has on now, she wore during Aigaion too.)

Okay.. I don't remember giving her Rune Blade. x_x Changed to Sleep Sword now though. Either way, the hax kill Spear worked with it on. Though changed now to at least do damage. I've just been spearing, so haven't paid attention to damage. XD



Not sure what deal is since emergency maint. I absolutely cannot have both GL and JP open anymore without GL taking a "Please log-in" dump on me. I like to swap between and burn NRG and do events, but now I have to literally only have GL open by itself these days. What did you do, Gumi? It's shit. umadbro? That I play JP? They treat us better there, that's for sure. -_-;

Didn't know that the bug damage override resistance. Must have been unlucky that attempt then and was just doing 1 damage. I didn't see any number pop up so I just assumed everything was resisted.

It was a PAIN IN MY ASS to get to this stage. Gumi insists on having an e-mail from Facebook confirming the account can't be re-activated before they offer to do this. It doesn't matter how much money you spent, they must have that e-mail from Facebook.

Problem is, Facebook has no direct customer service; all you can do is submit an appeal to them and wait with your thumb up your bum. I sent three goddamned appeals and heard nothing from them until today*.

Another unit comparison: Zyrus or Refia? I've got Zyrus to lvl 40 as 4 star and he doesn't seem that useful, where I've seen good things of Refia online.

They are apples and oranges. Refia is a fantastic healer if you don't have Tilith or Yshtola. Zyrus is a decent mage that focuses on single-target damage. Do you already have a healer better than Refia? Then ignore her. If not, Refia first.

I would say this highly depends on what you need. Zyrus Is a solid bloodmage but is outshined by victoria.

Refia is still a solid whitemage but only shines when equipping her a dualcast materia (from ludmille).

I never realised Veritas of the Earth's 2-turn provoke move is a damaging move as well. Single hit, 2.7 multiplier. If he gets the JP enhancement of 100% def in place of attack this will be quite a nice chain ender.

Another skipable banner, always appreciated Gumi. Need to save those tickets for Veritas Banner #2.

I said the units are solid...not that anyone should spend all their Lapis or Tickets on it if they dont need any of the units.

Im f2p so i wont bother pulling on this banner but this doesnt mean that the units featured are trash either. Im happy that i can save up a bit after Veritas/Nier so im okay with a catch up banner for ppl. who can use the units.

I know many people play this game and only care about the Top Tier units...but not everyone afford a setup of only top tier units. Hell im leveling Ilias right now and he is only a good/solid unit but his skillset is interesting to me.

PS. I hope this trial isnt another +4h marathon.

This is a really stupid banner. How they figured TTerra and WoL as Malboro Killer is beyond me as both doesn't have Plant Killer. Soleil and CoD might be useful since both have Esunaga skills (Soleil from her materia). Kefka maybe due to his Ribbon. If anything, they should've featured Firion as he's the real killer here.
