Is Wrath considered a good or a waste of an ability slot?

greater power orbs reward from elites, which means only need to buy greater fire orbs from aeris event

When used on a cloud with buster sword, it seems trivial since you can do more damage using spellblade twice instead of wrath > soul break

but for others such as Sephiroth's Masamune or unique soul break effects, might find a better use?

Otherwise, I am just gonna make Quake instead :p

Seems like it's more for limit breaks that grant Protect or other positive effects in order to buff up quickly, like right before a boss, por ejemplo. Also, not sure if you know, but Rydia can't use Quake. Who are you using Quake on?

I assume you dislike the current wow model where there are 4 difficulties. Do you feel like you have seen everything there is to see if you finish the bosses in Looking for Raid?

Yes, exactly. I came back for Pandaria after having been gone for WotLK and Cataclysm. It just felt so pointless. Why am I gearing up to kill Garroth and all the stuff before him on a harder difficulty when I've already killed him. I felt like a harder difficulty should be an entirely new dungeon with entirely new bosses. So that when you go in for the first time, you have that same sense of awe and fear of being in a new place that you aren't familiar with. When I killed Garroth on LFR difficulty, I felt like that was it for me. Which sucks, because I really like raiding, but I just didn't want to put all this time and energy into learning new ways to kill something I've already killed. I wanted to put it into killing something totally new.

The inventory management will make me stop the game. It's way too annoying. Why can't it just equip my team with world-appropriate gear when I use the button that should be doing that in the first place?

Doo doo doo, auto battling my way through the Hard ability orb daily, doo doo doo, getting Champion on every floor, doo doo doo

Yep. Although my version would be more like "Doo doo doo getting Champion on every flo-damn it who killed Rydia"

I still can't believe how much the GPU trick improved how this game runs on my S5. Any difference in battery life seems neglibile/similar to before.

As a player like that, if I play all the time and I am unable to beat the content without forking over hundreds of dollars, why would you want content that is essentially pay gated? There are over 25 events and 6 months of content that we have to look forward to, and there will be more by the time we get all the events that we currently know the Japanese have.

To respond to this, my goal obviously isn't "I only want to play this game if I have to pay". But just, I don't know, I tend to play these games for a really long time, and I actually like the thought of having content that's out of reach for me for a while. From the business perspective, it kind of makes sense too. People will spend more money if the money actually gives them a competitive advantage. That's the main reason the whales spend money to begin with. So that they can be first at everything. Not so they can say "Look I got this Buster Sword, but who really gives a shit because I was doing just fine without it".

I'll have to wait and see what the EX dungeons and elite event dungeons are like I guess. But I still feel like putting actual characters or pieces of equipment behind the more difficult levels would be neat. In a lot of games I've played, what they do is make the character a guaranteed acquisition if you beat it on hard, but give you only a chance of acquiring the character if you beat it on an easier difficulty level. Still makes it accessible to everyone, but rewards those who have progressed farther (or spent more money).

I squeezed in another relic pull and got Ice Armor, boo.

Ah well, I figure I'll save Mythril for a bit and/or throw a few bucks at the game if Locke, Yuffie or Zidane are ever the focus of the relic pull.

There's no way the thieves are going to be useful

An optimal party is class balanced and suited for each world while also taking depends on gear sets they can equip into account. But ultimately I want to rock around with my favourite characters in the franchise. Not including spin offs and trying to somewhat balance it, something like Cloud, Terra, Balthier, Tifa and Celes would be ideal. Yes no WHM for me, but I figure Celes and Terra will be pretty versatile. Otherwise I'd drop Celes for either Yuna/Garnet. If spin offs were included, i'd probably try and fit Agrias in there somewhere. Until then I'll use what works based on whatever is needed, but I'm quick to drop Wakka and Tidus!

I'm gonna save all mine until I get the weapon for Aeris is available. Hooefully it lasts a while because that's where all my Mythril is going. That Soul Break seems too useful

I mean yeah, the game is actually balanced for that specific case. You bring the people required for each world, and synergize as best as possible. After that, it's a case of bringing weakness elements/status effects.

Beyond that, you can "hard mode" the game by bringing no one with world synergy and just item synergy.

Terra and Celes are in the next pulls after Aerith? Finally! This obsession with front loading FF7 characters while ignoring FF6's large juicy roster was so frustrating!

that puzzling face
Look on the bright side. They could have been dicks and given you Red XIII up front and his otherwise useless set of Hairpin weapons.

One more go at farming before bed. Been a productive day for honing skills. Most stuff I use is almost all rank 2 or higher. Plus my first Lvl 50 team member.

Bring on the fire/lightning orb farming and new event tomorrow!!

What? I never said they were next. I expect FFI-II characters next based on challenge difficulty, but we should get FFVI and then FFIV again soon after. And if anything we got too many of the FFIV roster. Saying that the addition of Rosa would make a perfectly balanced team for all FFIV content

Been the most productive yet for me in terms of gear/ability profression. With all the power orbs mainly, I've gotten 2 Charge's and 1 Double Cut. I've also enhanced one of the two Double Cut's I already had. Combined with also getting Fire and Blizzard Strike, enhancing Fira and also obtaining and honing a Blizzara I got. And to top it off I got a Curaga. My ability to fly through Hard Mode Daily's with Abilities and has gone up drastically.

Bloody hell, they need to amend the drop rate for Lesser White Orbs. I've amassed 103 and barely need them. When there's so much for that use Black and Power, that's one thing the game needs addressing.

Oddly, I've gotten quite the opposite. Getting a ton of Power from daily today, not nearly enough white. I want to refine my Cura and Curagas.

I was actually thinking about dropping Cura in favor of something else like Protect. Instead just focus on honing up my Curaga. I almost never use up all Cura + Curaga, and many turns I'm just skipping my White Mage because there's nothing to heal.

Nooo I read too quickly/what I wanted to hear.... Super sad face... I'll just go back into my corner and pout then.

Thanks, I thought I saw something of that nature on the last page... maybe I'm not crazy after all.

Yeah I was just saying who I'd want to have in my party is all :)

What's the best dungeon for Lesser Power Orbs? I tried South Figaro Cave but in 2 full clears I got a grand total of 0 orbs of any kind.

Hard daily event.

I've been doing that but I'm planning for later in the week. I need about 50 and as of now I'm done with the daily (saving stamina so i can do Aerith right when it goes live)

Aerith event isn't going anywhere, focus on the daily and spend your stamina on a more mundane day.

Yeah the Orb Daily's are the most useful. EXP isn't all that great post 30, and the Gil and material days are highly dependant on whether you actually have any gear that needs upgrading, which after one or two days of each isn't much. More levels in abilities and new abilities to be created are always useful though.

I don't think I'll do the Aeris event dungeon today or tomorrow. I need to hoard some orbs, so I guess I'll do it only friday or saturday since I have no need for upgrade and gill right now.

I want to get that Gravity spell but normal Lightining Orbs elude me, I can't find a relible place to get them :/

I got them easy on elite Mako Reactor no. 5 first battle, but maybe I was just lucky.

However, tomorrow is the elemental daily, so it might be best to spend your stamina there trying to get 3* Lightning Orb.

I need a list of all bosses where Gravity works. I haven't found such thing yet. I know it works on Wing Raptor (V) and Guard Leader (VI). But is there any other?

About Zidane...
he's not even available in the Japanese version yet =\ There also isn't any Thief ability yet, the only type missing, even though Locke is present.

That's a shame.
He is by far my favorite FF main character.
