I know feature trailer's are usually carefully curated to put the game in the best light possible, and Square Enix PC ports still feels pretty bare bones by modern standards compared, but this doesn't look too bad. They still need to sort out things like UW and FSR/XESS support which is fast becoming standard practice now.
My two major concerns for the PC port were the dreaded open-world UE4 traversal stutter which no studio has managed to resolve without upgrading to UE5, and asset pop-in at close distances in the world which were quite distracting at times, and more noticeable at higher resolutions on PS5/Pro. Another minor concern was the lighting when you exit and enter caves/dungeons/houses etc.
On the Nibelheim trek footage, you can still see a little pop-in, but it looks a lot less noticeable. Elsewhere, there's seemingly no traversal stuffer.
I hope that's the case when the game releases.
Claiming this looks worse than Remake is ridiculous. I've played both recently on PC and PS5 Pro, and Rebirth blows it out of the water, visually, for the most part. Midgar during the day was not good to look at.
