Looks like FF7R marketing in Japan is in full swing.

I am going for the harem ending in this trilogy.
I guess the OT (whomever is making it) will be up a few days before the game releases.Does anyone know if the OT is going up before the release? I need a place full of hyped people, since I can hardly contain myself. No one in inner or even wider circle cares for FF or games in general![]()
It was very easy to self-insert as the protagonist
Go and beg for someone's ticket at the door.I am absolutely gutted ;( there's a free event in London next Fri where you can meet Kitase, Hamaguchi, ask them questions, get stuff signed but the tickets all went within 20mins from the announcement. I think I saw it only a few minutes late. If anyone here got tickets and is going then I hate you.
Not really but you get my frustration.

My girlfriend and I really liked that one, got some good laughs out of us. Great acting too, the screams from Tsundere blonde were often hilarious. Not Honoka is my personal favorite though mature form junkie chick is also a runner up. I normally don't go for the shortstacks but the mute cell phone girl was also really wholesome and fun to see interact with the world. Overall quite wholesome really.
I'm about 12-15 hrs into it myself. The corridor to corridor level design and the invisible barriers is far and the worst part of the game. Rebirth seemingly fixes those issues, thankfullyreplaying ff7 remake to catch up for rebirth. There's a lot of crap-to-mid stuff in this, including textures, corridor map, low-geometry garbage everywhere, horrible-looking NPCs, Sam's beard etc
But the soundtrack is GOAT. Incredible work. Like 80% of the game's budget seemingly went into crafting it.
This is how to ruin world building 101A possibility.

You can play the quest mode offline with AI party members if you want to.This'll be my first day one of the year. Was going to be Granblue Fantasy Relink, but the campaign is only 20 hours and they put too much resources into the MH online quest aspect of the game for me to purchase it at full price since I don't pay for ps+.
Yeah there's that, but the way they were hyping some of it, looks like there's going to be some really difficult quest and a bit of content that will require a full team of real people to overcome. That has me concerned. You can play the quest mode offline with AI party members if you want to.
Even Monster Hunter World you can beat Fatalis solo and that guy can be tougher than most Souls bosses.Yeah there's that, but the way they were hyping some of it, looks like there's going to be some really difficult quest and a bit of content that will require a full team of real people to overcome. lol not me bro! I've seen people beat Destiny 2 raids solo and amazing solo MH players, but I ain't one of 'em. I'll be deep in to P3R until Unicorn Overlord and FF7R arrive, so I'll make my final decision down the road on ReLink after I read community comments on the end game content quality, longevity, difficulty etc.Even Monster Hunter World you can beat Fatalis solo and that guy can be tougher than most Souls bosses.
That's odd, as DF noted it was rock solid 30 and 60 for each respective mode and had nothing but praise for the PS5 enhanced version!Excited for this, finally getting to the INTERmission from the first game on PS5... and holy shit, I switched to 4k/visuals mode for a mere moment and it started running at what felt like 17.5 frames a second.
Did not expect that kind of dropoff...
Performance mode it is!
It's a fun interview for sure. I could have met the guy on Fri.That was such a fun watch, guy seems really nice.

With part 1 the 60fps is up there with one of the best on PS5. It barely drops a frame according to DF, whilst also maintaining a high base resolution of 1512p which is reconstructed nicely to 4k and all graphical upgrades in the 4k/30fps mode also carry over so you get the same visual quality.Interesting!!
It must just be my own wonky perspective, in this case. Or maybe I'm a bigger fan of 60 frames than I thought I was? Defaulted to performance mode for about 4 hours or so, was jarring looking at the other mode.
Only 20 hours???? Only??? Are you saying that as if it's not worth the price at that length or what exactly? Would some 100 hour fetch quest padding and an an empty ubisoft like open world help make that purchase worthwhile instead? This'll be my first day one of the year. Considering the scope of Rebirth's environments I'm not sure if the 60fps will be as good as part 1, but I just hope it's better than 16. (if not I'll just play it at 30fps with no issue)

Thanks. I prefer lengthy jrpgs like Xenoblade Chronicles and Persona, so sue me. 20 hours isn't going to be much of an epic adventure, and I'm sure it's going to feel rushed. Certainly not worth my $60.Only 20 hours???? Only??? Are you saying that as if it's not worth the price at that length or what exactly? People like you are the reason games like FFXVI feel the need to overextend their playtime with boring meaningless side content that break the flow and pacing of the entire game...

Ah yes, fetch questing for 80 hours plus, trully the definition of an epic adventure...You might want to look at getting a job as a delivery boy If that's the case, that way you wouldn't even need to pay 60$ for games to experience that rush of an "epic adventure".Thanks. If you distill JRPGs to the main quest alone, 20-30 hours is what you'll be getting in most cases. In a real world scenario, those 20 hours are more like 40+.This'll be my first day one of the year. 30 hours should be a minimum for any self-respecting jrpg. I bet 20 hours for a game like Granblue Fantasy Relink will be the exact same thing in the demo: run from point to point and rescue horned civilians, fight enemies, get the locals on the ship, fight the boss. Rinse, repeat. No time for much of a nuanced story. If you distill JRPGs to the main quest alone, 20-30 hours is what you'll be getting in most cases. Each Mass Effect is like exactly 22 hours for me lol.30 hours should be a minimum for any self-respecting jrpg. All that to get us ready for their version of Monster Hunter questing. Yay. 22 characters to play. It basically seems like a facade that's pretending to be some epic jrpg journey while in reality it's an action based hack n slash monster quest game.
So hope I'm wrong about GFR.
As much as I thought Remake was real good, and think this looks fine...part of me kinda just wants to wait to play this. This is a middle chapter, and I hate to go through another several years waiting for the next sequel. Almost just wanna play em back to back.
You are still need to wait several years until you get all three trilogy in one package and until then I hope you wont get spoiled for the story. As much as I thought Remake was real good, and think this looks fine...part of me kinda just wants to wait to play this. It's been almost 24 hours now. Just wanted to remind you that you didn't get to meet him. How does it feel? Painful? Good. Let it fester inside. Eating away. Poisoning your emotions over something that could have been but will never be again. Anyways, have a good day!![]()
