And be prepared. They are going to nickle and dime everything. Nothing is free I guess.
Where are those? I'm still in Episode 3 Part 1.
I found them on the Archylte Steppe. They were too strong for me to do anything with yet, but soon enough!
And re: giant flan. Lv 74 RAV for Serah, 81 COM for Noel, and still can't beat it. It seems to kill those two extremely quickly.
Yeah, that's how I'm doing it too. I have to make both of them rather versatile since I'm not using monsters, you know?I'm trying to build a slightly balanced team of monsters with Noel and Serah being a bit versatile in all roles while still being somewhat focused in three roles.
It seems almost too hard to play this game without monsters. I like them.
It really freaking was in the demo. I'm surprised they didn't nerf him. Given how great a Kichu apparently is, I'm looking to be surprised when I get one of those and try it out in a solo battle. Is it just me, or is Uridimmu really overpowered?
So do I. :/i wish this game had a hard mode or something
Yeah, seriously! I got 5 trophies in New Bodhum. It's crazy! I was grinding for the Clock Stopper trophy in the Bresha Ruins' tunnels since the monsters there do not chase you like the wolves do.These trophies seem easy. They've been popping left and right for doing a 'significant' amount of things, like staggering. And I just left New Bodhum! Yup, going for the platinum.
The Bresha Ruins' rap was removed in favour of an instrumental. Are the rap tracks still in?
You get a Fragment Skill that'll make taming easier when you collect all Fragments in (location spoilers)Is there a way to make your odds better for taming monsters? Trying to get a Behemoth and having absolutely no luck
I wish we got avatars. I wanna rotate it with my Super Puzzle Fighter Ken.The one I want, for the Noel theme. I guess we don't get avatars. 360 users get the gamer picture.
But 5 staring the final boss. Yea, right. I couldn't even do that in XIII.
Took me 12 minutes to defeat the flan, feels good, man.
Sooooo, in episode 2, in regards to the boss your supposed tocontrol him right? Because in one attack he wipes me out, and I've already leveled my main roles once.
Thanks, yeah, just beat it.I did the controlling thing first. If that specific attack does too much damage, switch to a sen/sen/sen paradigm right before it lands on you, and then switch back to the role you want to use.
Then that must be end game stuff. I'm only mid 30's on my roles. lol
How are you surviving the Flan hits at 30 but I can't at 70+ ;_;
I beat it with Serah and Noel's com at 25, the other roles are like lv10. It took a while, make sure to use a knight and delta attack.
Hmm, are you talking about the first time you encounter the flan or the second? The first was easy, but even at 70+ and with a maxed pulse knight, serah and noel can barely survive the AOE flan attacks the second time around.
First. Dang, so even at your level, the second battle is that hard?
How do you move theLong gui?
But 5 staring the final boss. Yea, right. I couldn't even do that in XIII.
First. Dang, so even at your level, the second battle is that hard?
Edit: lol, we don't agree on Sonic music, but at least we can agree on this.lolwut? You didn't 5 star Orphan?
Hint: If you have a sentinel in anything but Combat Clinic for that fight you're doing it wrong.
That fight should be perma "I AM NO ONE'S SLAVE" and 999% staggers.
Are the enemies in Yaschas Massif meant to be way stronger than me? Was I supposed to go to Sunleth instead?
You shouldn't even need Combat Clinic a lot since that battle is so easy. Healing with Potions actually seemed rather sufficient. :O
I used Light/Fang/Snow for that one. Super-easy with Army of One to drive up to 999% post-stagger, and then Com/Com/Com.
I'm not sure how hard it will be, but I don't have the HP to survive the initial hits + poison.
Move the levers. One up and one down (I forget which) but you'll see it disappear with the other enemy still behind it (moving them otherwise will make both vanish)
Absolutely. Imperil was probably my favourite debuff in that game, lol.Light/Fang/Van here. Just went nuts with RAV/SAB/SYN to RAV/COM/RAV. RAV/COM/MED for when I need to top off before something big. Still five starred it on the first round without even needing aggression. Imperil lets your ravagers do an absolutely retarded amount of damage.
Not really. Based on what I can see, the bonuses work like this:So just got the game and I'm having a blast. Just a question,is it harmful to use potent droplet's to level my monsters at the beginning? I have a ton right now .
That's what I did too. The ATB gear in that game really helped with that sort of thing.Sir Abacus said:Actually I used Hope on the last boss not Vanille come to think of it. Same outcome though.
Loading up Light with anything ATB related also helps to keep spamming AO1.
This is no Treasure Hunter esque-trophy in this game. And I think you can rebuy stuff from Chocolina if you feel like you need something. Is it OK to sell off weapons and accessories or should I hold on to them?
Kupo needs to get his larynx crushed.
Not really. Based on what I can see, the bonuses work like this:
Small Nodes:
Potent material bonus - 30%+ growth to all stats
Power/Mana/Vitality bonus - 60% growth to the specific stat that the material is targetted towards
Big Nodes:
Potent material bonus - 50%+ growth to all stats
Power/Mana/Vitality material bonus - 110% growth to the specific stat that the material is targetted towards
If you're working on a SEN, I'd increase their Vitality more because they don't really need STR/MAG enhancements. They're tanks. They're there to tank and act as bait, not fight or cast spells.
In essence, it's really up to you as to how you want to grow your monsters. Want a strong Com? Either use potent or power materials. Want good Ravs or Meds? Use either potent or Mana materials.
That's what I did too. The ATB gear in that game really helped with that sort of thing.
I am getting my ass beat in both Sunleth and Yaschas... where did this "easy game" come from? The fact I have to grind out crystarium is testament this isnt true.
Ok. Someone help me with this fragment. I'm trying to get this Outdoor Watch. I've literally been all over both Yaschas Massif's timelines. I can't seem to find it. I know you have to have mog throw, which I do.
I even found this map, but even at the location, I still can't figure out where to throw mog. It's listed as 19 on the map. Cause its all in Japanese.
I haven't been grinding and I'm doing fine in Sunleth.
* Make sure you buy your highest available weapons
* Make sure you level your primary RAV monster and your primary MED monster
* Buff/debuff on boss fights (you have opened up the SAB and SYN roles for Serah and Noel respectively by now, right?)
Ok. Someone help me with this fragment.
It's to the left of the 19th, you'll look down in the valley to the north and throw mog there.
edit - I wish I kept track of how many/where I collected Wild Fragments; made it annoying trying to figure out where I got them. And I think I'm only missing one from the Casino
LOL.I bought the items at Yaschas. My only MED is the Cait Sith which frankly is doodoo.
And I have both SAB and SYN but the internet told me they are crappy cause this game is so easy
