As this weeks EU PSN content went up so did the DLC charts for last week (PS3 add on charts)

And FFXIII-2 took pole position yet again with the Sazh DLC (now with over 400 votes)...Serah Bikini DLC was on top last week with 450 votes (when I looked at it last week..now it's got many more votes).

Serah Bikini went down to 5th place, Noel costume down to 7th place & Lightning/Amodar down to 10th place (from 8th place last week)

FFXIII-2 has 4 of the top 10 DLC.

And just because I'm sad I checked to see how this weeks FFXIII-2 DLC is doing. The Omega Fight In Style Pack already has around 100 votes....which is a good sign.

How does your monster team look like? A kichu will do most of the work. Weapons with ATB +50% help too.

You don't have to 5 star it on Normal to get the achievement, I got 0 star on my first try too.

The fight's relatively straight forward, you'll need a good offensive SYN monster (purple choco, Yakshini with feral link charged) at the start, and debuff it, then go all in.

Red Choco COM lvl. 99
Silver Choco SEN lvl. 45
Gremlin RAV lvl. 45

I have a Blue Choco RAV lvl. 45 as well but I don't have it fully leveled and it seems it's stats aren't as good as my Gremlin but it could be because he's a Late Bloomer. I haven't leveld a single SAB or SYN. What would you recommend I do to beat that SOB?

You don't have to 5-star it? Holy crap, I might be able to pull it off, then. I was under the impression it had to be 5-starred for whatever reason. I do not have a SYN monster, whatsoever, so I wonder if I'll need it. I beat Rasputil on Easy with SAB/SAB/MED, MED/MED/MED, SEN/SEN/SEN method. I wonder if that'll fly on Normal. Otherwise, you would recommend a SYN monster leveled?

I didn't have offensive SYN the first time and it was a pain in the ass, beat it after 5 Elixirs and 25 minutes. I used Chichu/Albino Lobo/Pulse Gladiator.

Having a good offensive SYN definitely helps, Noel can be your main defensive SYN, so you go in with SAB/SYN/SYN(monster), switch to SAB/SAB/SYN, apply debuffs, RAV/RAV/RAV stagger, COM/COM/COM, occasionally MED/MED/SYN, repeat. Also if you're controlling Noel apply individual buffs, don't use -ga buffs since they don't last as long.

Ochu drops Chain lv bonus weapons to drive up chain gauge faster, and Immortal drops ATB+50% weapons to speed up ATB recharge rate, they can be helpful but not essential.

the proto behemoth on teh left quickly dispel any status you have ( he has a special skill that dispel everything at once ) you might have a shot with a saboter ..but somehow i think that's not a good idea IMO the best way to win is a good sentinel and a good rav ( IMO ) Those teraflare sure hurts..

You know for being engaged and nearly married, Snow is a complete afterthought in the game. At the end, Serah doesn't even mention him, Hope/Vanille/Fang/Lightning all do but it's the Moogle who has to say something.

Ok, I'm having a problem with the Bestiary professor fragment. I have gone over the list twice with my list and the only things I don't have listed are:

1 of 4 proto fal'cie Adam set (no idea where to find it because I've done the paradox ending).

1 of 2 Twilight Odin (no idea why the other didn't show up)

Long Gui legs

And the arms of two different Cei'th that I have also beaten.

I have read that those particular things do not show up on the bestiary, I have every other monster in my bestiary, what am I missing here?

You don't need Chichu (which should be called Cheatchu) for this fight. I managed to 5* him on Normal with maxed Golden Chocobo.

First of all all your paradigms need to be the -X ones meaning they target only Rasptail.

Secondly never ever try to kill any of his summoned monsters. Don't waste time killing the flying ones, Vampires or Wladislaus.

You need to start with SAB/SAB/SEN and try to stick Deprotect/ Imperil on him but only try few times don't waste time if it doesn't stick. Then immediately switch to RAV/RAV/RAV and Stagger the fuck out of him. DO NOT SWITCH TO COM/COM/COM WHEN YOU STAGGER HIM. Drive the stagger gauge to 999% using 3 RAVs. Then switch to COM/COM/COM and wail on him. You should (with Golden Choco for example) take off 50% of his life that way. After stagger ends reheal and repeat the procedure again.

Whenever he uses Aleph Zero immediately switch to Tortoise (SEN/SEN/SEN).

You should have one or two elixirs in case of critical emergency.

That's it. I killed him with non-maxed Noel and Serah, without using fragment weapons (no Odinblade or Odinbow), without using any overpowered monsters like Chichu and without SYNs in my party. You just have to play it smart and don't waste precious time during the battle.

What should happen? They'll make a new FF trying to win the favor back, while hoping in the mean time that Versus delivers. We know at this time that their plans is to release one major FF every year developed on a two year cycle by different teams, so they have plenty of occasions to work on that. It's their major IP together with DQ, they're not going to let it go easily you know. Even if they're trying their best

I think the situation is more complex than it appears, and other than XIII's lack of good response – that surely is the main reason for this small numbers – play a role the lack of interest lately shown by the west for japanese games in general and specifically for japanese RPGs.

Final Fantasy VIII dosen't have a sequel.

Whatever, XIII-2 is crap. It doesn't deserve to sell well. Hopefully we can move on from this, but we probably won't.

Well FF13-2 voice & movie data weight less than FF13 but still a lot and square didn't bother .

There is an HK version available ( i'm using it )

You'll need a HK account to use any dlc .. but hey it's a Jap dub , english text and IMO it's the best version of the game..

it's the difference between win and losses .. if you went with 5,000 , you need to reach at least 15,000 in one setting.

If you have the lucky coin fragment i suggest going for the chocobo races ... it's way faster if you have a silver /or gold chocobo at lv 45 ( took me 1 hour )


----I have a question for the bestiary , does a unchecked monster count or i need to have a cross next to monster for it to count for the bestiary fragment ?
I'm confused about some monster in academia that i might have met BUT not defeated

Zefah, I just tried this and the game boots up in English, as normal.

El Shaddai supposedly has multiple languages on the Japanese disc without any way to get at them normally, if you want to try experimenting with that game.

(Aside: games that automatically start up in the language your system is in are inexcusable. If your system is in Japanese and you put in the NA Assassin's Creed it, you'll actually get an error message implying that the disc is unreadable. Had me panicking for a moment until I noticed that it was just Ubi being braindead. Contrast this with Vanquish, which has half a dozen languages on it, and gives you the chance to choose the one you want as soon as you start the game, and at any other time you like. What are you thinking, Ubi? At least they don't do it based on IP geolocation. That would have me breaking the disk in half and stomping on it.)

The check mark isn't needed for the fragment. I think you need to defeat the monster before it appears in your bestiary though.

The Fragment of Invincibility is from Immortal, the requirements for the quest are: Defeat all three Gigantuars and speak to the Hunter outside the Chocobo pen in the Nomad Camp. If you decide to begin the side quest directly afterwards, you may need to exit to the Historia Crux and return to trigger Myta's request. Hope this helps!
