As far as I know, you dont receive any emails.

20 digit code apears on screen with instructions
Register 20 digit code
Confirm account details

If you saw the "you were successful" screen, then Im pretty sure youre ok and good to go.

Was able to redeem both my codes with no problems just now (one for PS3 and other PC)

Make sure you download new Nvidia drivers, they increased by benchmark score also by 1000.

My code still doesn't work but I own the original CE and I am legacy. That wouldn't stop my code from working would it? like it's not letting me tie that code to my existing account.

Does anyone know how you go about registering other Square-Enix games on that website? I know how to register for example XIII or XIII-2 that came with a redemption card using the same ABCDEF-123-GHIJKL-456 format code in the "My Profile" section; but what about digital PC games like Deus Ex on Steam, or perhaps even Android titles. How would you put those onto that site?

I tied my PC preorder to my account so it should work for you too.

Do you know if those compatible with the 400 series or still have the "driver stopped working" error that has been since a year ago?

Where are people getting their 20 digit codes? I put my 18 digit code in yesterday and got the error that everyone else did, but it showed up on my profile. I didn't get any 20 digit key though.

You get the 20 code after entering the 18 code successfully.

Redirects to the page with the code after entering that first code. Also should have emailed you but may have not.

I believe 1.0 players automatically get early access.

Well for the Open Beta I downloaded the client but when I tried to use it on my gf's account on the same PS3 it wouldn't work without getting another beta key. So I got another key and linked it to my gf's account and then that work. So the client is reading the purchases linked to your PS3 account. So I assume the same is true of the early access. No harm redownlaoding the client though.

after spamming it since yesterday and for the last 30 minutes it finally passed it. got my code and registered it. now the waiting begins.

Nope, just because you have 1.0 doesn't give you early access unfortunately.

Just entered my code. It's retarded you can't see what you added on your account though. It would be so much better if you would get the same overview the site gives you when you register.

The overview I'm talking about is the one that tells you what's registered to the specific game.

Alright my turn for a possible dumb question.

I am an owner of 1.0 CE (not legacy), I have preordered and redeemed the PS3 version. Will that allow me to play early access on my PC or only PS3 (PC is my preferred platform)?

When you get the 12 digit PSN code, and you redeem it, does it download a client?

The reason I'm asking is because I don't have the Phase 4 client on my PS3 (I'm legacy on PC) and I've got to play early access through my PS3 this weekend and I'm hoping that it will let me get a client :(

So Amazon sends me to preorders.eu.finalfantasyxiv.com to sign in and enter my 18 digit code but I'm unable to log in with my Square Enix account even though the details are correct as I am logged in on both the Square Enix and Final Fantasy XIV site with the sane details.

Not sure what to do.

Alright, so, if you had a region error or you're afraid you might get one enter your code again at the correct website:

http://preorder.eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/

Click your account name and hover over "My Profile" to make sure you're in the right region. Previously I could go into "User Settings" and change my default language but that wasn't working just now for me.

I was able to click English on this tab here again I believe and it seemingly changed it to the correct region:

Pro-tip: If you get an error after submitting, keep clicking the sumbit/confirm/whatever button and it should go through eventually if the server load isn't high. It looks like in the past 30 minutes a lot of people got through.
