Yea, but you'd think after countless companies have launched MMOs that the next company to do so would try to learn from the mistakes of other companies.

This is not an easy problem, and throwing more servers just creates more longstanding problems.

I think everyone should flood the Japanese servers, honestly.

big shock when they get world first everything, right?

Then they would just complain when they fill up and bog those servers. I'm sure there will be a fair migration once the option becomes available, but there's not some conspiracy to keep Japanese players happy at the expense of everyone else.

I have general questions:

When can I start using Dyes? I also want to sell my made items from Carpentry at the Market board, and I have to get a Retainer, but all the info I can find is "You'll get it later, when you advance the story" I'm lv 14 Archer & lv 7 Carpenter, roughly how much longer in the story?

I've heard lvl 20.

It's nice in theory, but it gets really stressful when you are a bunch of people fighting for the same mobs trying to deal enough damage for them to be 'tagged'. Most mobs go down before I even manage to get more than one attack off, just because there's so many people doing the same quests and not enough mobs to go around. The positive side to this is that the mob respawn timers aren't too bad.

Yeah, I'd like it if the spawn timers were more dynamic, having mobs spawn faster when a bunch of people are around killing them, so that completing quests would be less time wasting.

The quest is available (around lv 15 i think) from an NPC in Vesper Bay. Bring orange juice.

lvl 20 for retainers.

Dye quests is in Vesper Bay. You need to trade an orange juice to the quest giver.... and thats it.

Yoshida said recently that Labyrinth of Bahamut wasnt compatible with Duty Finder, so I guess the endgame is where they want you to start looking for people to create parties.

Are you sure ?, I thought he said CT, as its raid content, can't see why LoB wouldn't work as its still only 8 man.

Par for the course.

I only noticed "There's something in the water" quest today, which is about women getting pregnant.

I'm not sure if you can walk it, I just waited until I unlocked the airship through story missions.

You can walk it, but it is a long walk/dangerous. Wait for the airship key or see if someone can teleport you (not sure if that'll work).

I really don't think they are doing this on purpose though, no company want's to have their launch butchered. There's just too much stuff that can go wrong with games like this no matter how much you beta test it. Even single player games have issues, both Skyrim and The Walking Dead which were awarded game of the year were full of game breaking bugs. Even Blizzard who are perfectionist and worked on Diablo 3 for gods knows how long couldn't stop things like this from happening.

Now perhaps there are way this could be handle better by SE, but I guess I'm just so used to it that it doesn't bother me too much.

I'm pretty sure one fate involves escorting a pros... fine lady to her client.

There was a thread in the beta forum that listed all the innuendos, it was pretty long lol.

From what craft are those?

Alchemy (which you will want 50 anyways since it has some of the best cross crafting skills. You can never have to much CP =P)
Culinarian (basically if you can restore cp which is used to restore durability then you can spam this skill. Only problem I have ran into is bad luck streaks. Steady hand does help, but I need like 1 more cp which I'll be getting from the earrings once I start leveling my crafts 15+)
Carpenter (My CRP is not yet 15 as I plan to level it next, but as long as I can get rumination to give me back more cp than I used to activate inner quite then it should be a pretty good skill to have around).

Honestly a lot of the lv15 cross crafting skills are good, some more than others

Um, it's up, but I'm getting an error 1017. It's almost like they completely got rid of the queue or something.
