I unbind W as forward and rebind it to S since I never backpedal. I bind 1-5 and QWERF and to mouse buttons to abilities. Use Ctrl and Shift as modifiers.

legacy + archer/bard = kite like a boss. Well it made it a lot easier to kite on my archer. Even helped finish off some bosses when everyone else wiped during P3.

I can agree with this, poor Lalafell looks so weird with Lightning's outfit
Many EU guys on Ultros, and some of us on Ragnarok (recommended server for EU timezones). If you're planning on playing primarily with people from GAF, Ultros is probably the way to go.

They haven't announced anything about that yet. I assume it would be around the release of Lightning Returns.
That's what I usually do when I play with KB/M. I've been playing ARR with a controller though (on PC). It just feels... nice. Except for targeting but I'm hoping I can get used to it.

Personally, I like the freedom of being able to strafe independent of mouse use. Mouse turning is def the only way the turn, but there are times where you maybe need to swap target while strafing or set a target reticle.
I loved reading the names of players in this game just to see what wild stuff they used. From phase 4 I remember;

So I have a Razer Megalodon USB headset, and I use the Xbox 360 Wired controller on my PC. For some damned reason, if they're both plugged in then neither works.
Any idea why this is happening? WAY partial to kicking back with a controller on FFXIV than sitting up at a keyboard. :/

I level Scholar to 45, that makes Arcanist also go 45, right?
So I level Conjurer to 30 and, since I have a 45 Arcanist, that unlocks White Mage.
Question:
If I level White Mage to 45, does that level Conjurer to 45 also?

You level a class. Jobs are just crystals you equip like any other piece of gear.

Yes. SCH is Arcanist and WHM is Conjuror, they are just specs placed over the top of your base class and what you accomplish with a job transfers to the base Class. The only thing Jobs do is add specialized party skills for a specific role, changes the rules of your sub skills you can pull from other classes (2 instead of 8 classes, 5 skills at lvl 50 instead 10) and lastly changes the repertoire of your gear with jobs having more specialized sub set of gear, or at least used to with AF.

Yes.
White Mage, Arcanist, and other jobs are basically equiped on your class (Conjurer, Arcanist, etc) that specialise you more towards a specific function. Your level is always governed by your class.

The chances of this are nearly nil. That's there so Squenix doesn't get sued, they don't actually care if you are named Samsung Galaxy.
That seems perfectly adequate. Even from the US West Coast I ping 90ms to the servers in Montreal.

(Try a Japanese server, latency is horrible)
Yes, that's about 0.14 of a second of delay, you can start having issues when its 500+ ms and even then minimal.
The only privilege is that you'd take most starting quests, thus levelling faster in your first class.

I get this same message on PS3 even though, it says I have Early Access in my service list on PSN.
It was the same this morning for mine, but now I was able to go through a couple of EULA, confirm the early access and extra's from preorder and now I got through to the sign in screen, so It looks like I am set.
