For the people having issues with the text size in the character options section there is an option that allows you to adjust the font size up to 20 point font.
For the people having issues with the text size one thing I noticed is that in the PS4 beta there is a few options missing under the character options. Here is a screen shot from the PC version which shows that there is a section that allows you to adjust the font size up to 20 point font.
Between the small start up and text I'm thinking that as of right now some of the options and fixes are being left out as this is just the first phase of beta.
You can increase log window font size on ps4. It's the npc dialogue
My main quest line is broken. I am at the quest "In the Grim Darkness of the Forest" and I am supposed to talk to Roseline next. She doesn't have a quest marker. Basically this character is done now. lol
Coliseum shawl should be thrown into a dumpster.
So, downloaded and tried this.
Well, the interface is bullshit. It's a PC interface designed for mouse and keyboard and for sitting at 3 feet from the screen.
The text is impossibly small, I cant even resize the bottom left corner chat window and it's convoluted as hell.
I honestly was interested on this, but can't get past this, it makes the game unusable.
Had a lot of fun making a character, but now I'm stuck not able to get into the world. Beta7 server. Too bad. Will try again later, I guess.

You can hide that one in the options. Then tap R1 to switch between the regular bar and the pet bar. It's funny how no one barely chats on the PS4...I reached level 5 and had to stop because as an Arcanist,I got the extra Pet hotbar and they decided by default to put it right in the middle of the screen...I just couldn't figure out how to move it with the touchpad...

Yes. Set up a target filter that only selects enemies. You can set those up in the options and then switch between them with L1+face buttons.Anything I can do to make targeting easier? Having a hard time healing and switching to the enemies.
hello do the female characters wear chainmail bikinis throughout the game or should i make a male one
You dont like chainmail bikinis!?!
There isn't a global scaler, but you can resize every element by pressing R3 when it's active. For the elements that you can't activate, you can do the same thing with their outlines in the HUD Layout menu.Is there a way to increase the whole UI and not just the chat window? This is awful on a big TV.

I'm confused, this only increases the text in the chat window. Is there a way to increase the size of all text in the game?

No. It's useless because quest text is still unbearably small.
I'm honestly shocked that S-E thought this was passable. The game is fucking unplayable in its current state due to the UI.

Well, it certainly depends on your TV and how far you're sitting away from it.I agree that the text is way too small, but unplayable...?
I actually don't think this is something that SE intended to address, so making noise about is a good idea. Just on the official forums / e-mails to them, rather than here. I'd certainly love a global UI scaler option.Maybe because it's a beta and the UI is essentially a carbon copy of the UI that's available on the PC version? And it certainly is not unplayable, seeing as I was having no problems playing it on my bed over ten feet away or playing it on the Vita.
Some of you people are really jumping the gun with your insults and attempted quips...

I just think there is a difference between inconvenient and unplayable I guess.Well, it certainly depends on your TV and how far you're sitting away from it.
Thanks. Is there a fix for quest text? Whenever someone is talking the text bubbles are so small I can barely read the writing. If the final version is this way I'm skipping the game.
Is there a beta level cap?
I believe they have it set at 20 but I could be wrong.
Wow, that's a lot of beta time for level 20 cap. Guess I can try out multiple characters.
