Plus the Japanese players love watching live streams on nico, don't forget that.

Apparently this is coming from comments? Still don't believe it, BUT when they were mentioning touch controls, I was wondering why the heck they would waste development resources on something like that. Because let's be honest, NOBODY really needs that, it's just a gimmick. Then I thought, well unless you would put it on Vita ... ;).

I would LOVE having a baby choco following me around!

This is awesome news about Legacy members getting access straight away. Can't wait. Also I'm really looking forward to the PS3 beta. I still have my code handy just in case they ask for it again.

Not sure about bombs but Chocobo's will be the new companions which we have to raise, not sure if we can use legacy and personal chocobo's for the same purpose though.

Huh, guess 2.0 is further out than anyone expected.

Glad that they're taking their time, but definitely makes it seem like some of the alpha videos, mostly the combat and leves one, are a bit premature.

Yeah, I was thinking the game would launch on April, but seems that it would be June or so....

"Hunting log", huh? Guess they are gonna do a bestiary. Hopefully it gives bonus EXP as you complete entries like the Crafting and Gathering Log did in the Alpha and has as good of descriptions as FFXII's.

Also, sounds like we're stuck with Gridania and LNC/ARC/CNJ 'til phase three maybe. :(

Phase 3 says it introduces the leveling paths for the other two cities which I'm assuming means the intro quests or levequests though the fact that it specifies their "leveling paths" could mean the cities themselves are available from the start.

Phase 2 does say "Grand Companies" so I guess you'll be able to join the other two.

Hopefully they'll be available, just no leveling paths for that area yet..

It would be much better if they had the areas available along with their respective guilds.. if they are capping it at 35 and will have additional dungeons..

I'll be fine as long as we're not stuck with LNC,ARC and CNJ only again..

I hope is just means we'll be forced to start on Gridania and level there, rather than Limsa and Uldah zones not being avaliable.

Phase one says "dungeons (up to 35)" so that means probably the low level dungeons in Limsa and Uldah areas.

Not to be a pessimist but the Alpha had the sealed off door for Toto-Rak which was a 25+ dungeon in the original game and Haukke Manor which has the same dungeon symbol as Tam-Tara and is surrounded by 30+ monsters.
