Edit: STR ones get to double dip as temporary solutions for your DPS Tank set now while working for your DRG too. Worth keeping that in mind.

Well, it looks like a lot of Dreadwyrm accessories drop in early Final Coil turns, and those turns look to be within my skill level, not to mention my current gear level. So I'm inclined to rely on RNG, unless some sort of issue crops up.

That, and I'm REALLY eager to get some of that Astrum crap off my Dragoon. Ugh, so much blasted Skillspeed! XD

It's that time of progression where Tabris is trying to scramble to fix a DPS issue that doesn't really exist. He sees us at 12 stacks with two Bennus left and starts trying to find a cure for more numbers when the issue is improper management of add death and people being dead on the floor when flames of rebirth gets casted. All will be good in the world once we clean up phase 2 even more and get in more phase 3 practice.

Are you guys using LB?

It's a bit daunting at first, for sure, but just set a goal and get to it, then set another goal. Gearing up isn't too difficult, but it does require time and commitment.

My vote is for scy to gear up a DRG.

Looking at this, our dps is not the issue. Like Sorian said, the problem is our bennu management. You guys are timing the rebirth correctly and optimizing dps while we're sitting around wasting a lot of time right now.

Yeah, I figured that would solve most issues, we've only been to Bennuland 3-4 times cleanly and we only tested out the waters so we wouldn't finish one bennu until the big bennu was dead. I feel more comfortable with the phase now and I think I have good timing down between how long we take to kill a big one in respect to flames. So now we should have way less down time in the phase.

What a guide. I've already fumbled my way into a bunch of this stuff and I've started my relic weapon quest and collecting soldiery. I'm going to queue for the 50 dungeons and hard modes right as soon as I stop getting distracted by all the daily nonsense like beast tribes, hunts, provisioning, etc. The initial shock of getting overwhelmed with exclamation points as soon as I beat Ultima Weapon is mostly over at least.

Starting to hit the point where I'm going to hit a brick wall in terms of gear with no real progression to look forward to.

I don't have a coil group, so at the moment my gear options are to keep repeating ST in the hopes of getting sands for my left side and capping Poetics. I guess I could also work on my relic weapon but I'd like to move away from the soldiery grind for a bit, which isn't really an option if I want to go the relic route considering it's currently at Atma, so next step is books... ://////////

I'd like to find a Coil group that's at least somewhat serious, but not really sure what my options are in terms of GAF statics.

If you're looking for a Scholar for Coil hit me up. I've done Garf clears of T6 and T7, but that's about it as far as experience with Coil is concerned.

I'm in Ireland but have a wonky sleep schedule so I can probably raid up til like 9 PM, maybe 10 PM EST (2 or 3 AM for me)

I'd like to keep progressing by having some sort of a challenge and not grinding ST only.

If you want to gear up to i110 quick do hunts for sands and oils, don't bother trying to worry about winning a roll in ST.

Hey, every time we get to the "Tabris gives DPS a hard time" phase, we clear the next week But yeah, all fair points. Need to change the timing of when we kill Bennus. We should kill the small one after a flames, move, while continuing to kill the big one. Timed so another big one is up when the last big one died.

Seriously? Because when things go wrong they go wrong fast. Like you are dead before anything can be done. Also Optimus Prime has a ton of HP, we'd of needed like 60 poison pots to even get that remaining amount, and unless my napkin math is wrong I'm not sure that is even realistically possible. (14m fight, 3m45sec unattackable, several parts in which party could not be on him and actually use with 100% uptime.)

I guess I'm going to Eorzean jail for a long...long time.

Because we don't need poison pots. Our previous run where we wiped at 16% due to tank being out of range we still had almost 2 minutes until enrage.

It still would have been a wipe, even if all optimally used as it doesn't add up to the ~1.2% or so HP we needed.

Put it into perspective, we had 6 total deaths in the final phase and still nearly got it ;__; Hell, if we had weakness reduction buff up, we would've had it. Time to start the petition for that...

That argument just goes in circles Kagari, far better to demonstrate how poison pots wouldn't of even saved the day. 14k hp/250damage pots is 56/8 is 7 which mean EVERY person would need to use 7 and at roughly 11min15 seconds there is not enough time in the fight to realistically use that many. (at most you could get 6 I think, assuming magic 100% uptime no misses)

I legit miss being able to dodge super moves as tank like table flip in Titan HM. Now everything is immune to blind and impossible to dodge.

Well ... if everyone does 6, I technically get 12 if I get every single one Contagion'd. It's still short (plus I was one of the deaths and would've probably lost an activation) but still. I think a 7th per person is possible if you delay P1/P2 ending by like 5-10s and had ideal pot usage (e.g., t = 0, 1m48s, 3m36s, 5m24s) but it also means less time in the final phase to compensate. And, well, still runs the risk of being short.

I don't think there's a single minute of the fight that Blind wouldn't be full DR'd. ~54 Ruin 2s in the 1% wipe attempt which is almost perfectly 3 per minute.

gotta keep that GCD going!
