I'll consider going Au Ra after I have a better look at the facial models, the one they showed off here looked, uh perpetually grumpy. If all the males look like that, then it's a no go. Only reason I'm considering it actually, is because they won't let me make my Miqote taller than 5.8. That's not hugely small or anything, but for a Tank it's a bit on the modest size. Also, Hyur are just a bit too boring for my taste, and Roe's don't fit my personal aesthetic soooo....

Torn on the box to be honest. The statue's nice and all, but I'm not sure I want to pay for something that'll just sit on my shelf for a few years. Granted, I think they said something about an art-book, and they might be doing a partial soundtrack or something.

Got the PS4 CE at release, will try and get this too. I assume I only have to buy it on one platform if I already have a PC and PS4 account registered?
And when can I preorder?
Once the content is unlocked on your account, it'd be VERY difficult for them to lock it on on a platform by platform basis. I mean, what are they going to do? Change your class back to a 2.0 Job every-time you log in a platform you haven't bought the expansion for?
Even if they tried, it'd create a huge amount of bugs.

I've sent in a ticket to Square Enix and still haven't heard anything.
How do I simply create a new service account? I'd rather not create a whole new Square Enix login but I can't figure this out.
Under my existing username of Wibblewozzer I downloaded the Steam Trial. I then bought a Windows Code knowing I can't use it to activate a copy on Steam. This is all I see on Mogstation:
Clicking the Transfer to Regular Service button only takes me to where I can put in a registration code or purchase a copy for the Steam Trial. It doesn't take the Windows version code, of course, and gives me an error when I've tried just to check.
If I go into my account settings it seems I should have more options, such as adding new accounts, on this page but clicking the link or image for FFXIV just takes me back to the page in the first image.
I have to imagine there's something extremely simply I'm missing. I can't remove that Steam Trial version. I can't add a new Windows version. I'm somehow stuck ONLY playing the game through Steam. Even after uninstalling the Steam Trial and redownloading the client using the steps provided with the purchase it still uses the Steam Trial account for when I log-in as the character is still there and the game treats me as if I'm in the trial still (since I can't put the serial number anywhere).
Help would be appreciated from anyone familiar with Mog Station or any of this account business. I've spent far too much time trying to figure it out and Googling around. In terms of customer service and usability this has been pretty terrible.

No idea what you can do other than wait for your trial to end and hope it takes it then or wait for your support ticket. Here's how it looks on my end with a PS4 and Steam license.

Guess I'll just have to wait and see. Or if I get really annoyed while waiting I'll just create a second Square Enix ID with a second e-mail account.
I don't understand why I don't even have the option for Add New Service Account which seems to be what I really need. Something tells me that the trial ending won't suddenly fix my issue and from the little I've Googled around I'm not expecting any sort of speedy response from their customer service if I get a reply at all.
There's no good reason for me to hold onto the existing ID so much other than I still use Wibblewozzer in a bunch of places. But I do use LordWibble as a back up so I might just resort to creating a new one with that and shrugging it off.

The picture you posted makes me think the system doesn't count trial accounts as full service accounts so it won't let you add a second service account cause your first one isn't considered a full account.
How are you accessing Mogstation? Saw a post on the forums that said clicking on the link via the Steam client turns on a cookie that tells it it's the coming from the Steam version. I'm wondering if maybe if you clear your cookies and go to the site directly if that will let you register the vanilla client instead of requesting a Steam code.
meeeeeeh..sad day for little kittens like me. oh well I'll play it anyway.
Other thing: Just got my Artbook. DAMN it is beautiful. Amazing and so heavy. Only thing is the corners got squished a little. :/ wrote an email to the SE store support.

hopefully they'll make 50-60 lvls harder. aggressive open world mobs and true hard mode dungeons. something like 50% coil difficulty for 4 people.

Too many people will complain if the non raiding dungeons are hard, even if they have the tag of 'Hard mode'

I love this man. Personally I do not like ACT in FFXIV at all. In WoW I never had a problem with people using it, but in FFXIV it just destroys some atmosphere for me.
Tried to buy the premium Stream, Paypal says the can not process orders for that right now, did someone else have that problem?
They're putting in really tight DPS checks without giving means to actually measure your performance adequately. That is no bueno.
^_^/ luckily I only once encountered a pty with ACT in FFXIV since 2010..
Parsers are normally used by statics to see how well they do, not to gauge randoms in faceroll dungeons.
