I keep trying to get hype for Machinist, but I just can't care. Unless they announce that somehow they decided BRD was too hard and they needed an even easier ranged DPS, and so Machinist is just going to be a PLD rotation in DPS form. Then I will be all over that shit.

I just want Machinist in order to live out my Balthier fantasy. The ultimate pew pew class. Actually I quite like the idea of the class system being reworked so that Machinist and BRD would be support instead of straight up DPS, that could open up some interesting avenues in terms of party composition. Would be a big task though.

Oh man this. There are way too many things I can't match with existing dyes, too, so an expanded range of shades would be appreciated.

First thing that comes to mind is the sailor brais, that damn red waistband doesn't match anything. It's so frustrating.

I think my fledgling machinist hype just totally died when they got to the part of the clip with the machinist kneeling down--pewpew is no good without mobility alongside, and anything that requires staying stationary is just kind of um. Also his clothes were a massive step down from Astrologian.

Which is a lot of judgment to make from a teeny tiny video clip, but it was complete anti hype to me.

Dual support classes would be nice, though. It's good to dream.
