Yeah I was just venting it's just super frustrating. I'm just so tired of wiping on this run but I guess I'll work at it still as it's one of the last things I need to complete.

Maybe if there was an actual meaning to it more groups would bother. You don't even get accomplishment anymore since clearing it while massively overgearing things kind of defeats the point.

You are on Ultros?
My static sometimes takes FC members who still need it through T9 (we all kinda still like the fight). We are on Phoenix, though.

Is anyone here on Excalibur that runs T9 with a FC? I know all the phases, just need a good party. About to get my Novus which will help too.

On a side note, had a set of Savage Aim II's sell today for half a mil. My first big sale. Feels good man.

Oh, damn. I'm going to be getting back in to this game with the expansion. At launch on eu servers fighting titan hm was impossible for me without some sort of tunneling service to reduce lag. It was a night and day difference in avoiding one hit K.Os with a tunnel. Really hoping they get those eu servers up.

Spending most of the day grinding Dragon's Neck for that fucking Terra card (with no success at all) really did bring out the ugly side of me. Am I being punished for getting the Onion Knight card in two tries? In any case, I have no regrets. Today was a whole lot of bullshit. I better get the Bartz card later today

If you plan to level another class at all, I would suggest to skip any non-story quests below your current level and do them on another class. That way you can get the most out of the reward XP.

Yeah I'm on Ultros. Thanks for the offer though. :)

But since I see so many complaining about Nael are there any on Ultros that want to put together an informal learning group/death squad for T9? Doesn't have to be anything long term but enough to get it done without having to resort to carries and what not.

Disagree completely. In T7 and T8 Savage, most of the attacks are auto wipe mechanics. T8, all overgearing does is allow you to be a little loose when handling gaseous and homing missile, and you can skip a tower set or two at the end. You could be i150 and would still need to learn it the same way.

You guys should try it if you think you can overgear it with ease.

I'm gonna finish this week. And I've only been doing like 2 hours of light farming or so everyday for the last couple of weeks. Mostly farming Bright primal fights and doing other random stuff like roulettes and raids.
Its a very relaxed step.


BTW, anyone on Malboro? Me and some friends have been stuck in T5 forever and we would like some help. We are 5 people (2 healers, 2 dps and a tank) and have tried the battle quite some times with randoms.
If anyone would like to help us, please PM
me so we can agree on a time to finally get it over with.

Makes sense for them to pick the S&M inspired costume to target fetishes; they also have Yuna in her wedding dress for people into married women and a Serah one for necropheliacs.

So I just decided to try out the 14 day free trail off steam with a friend.

We made characters on Ultros because that's what it defaulted me to, we haven't had a chance to play since I'm at work.

But uh just outta curiosity if I wanna upgrade my trial to a full account how does that work? I've heard things are different because my trial was started on steam.

Also what are the trial account restrictions? Any level caps? Inability to use chat systems? Or what'

There are 19 days between my Novus and Nexus achievements, but I got my Novus 10 days before the light buff and didn't really do much with it before the light buff... I was on like stage 2 or 3 when 2.5 hit. I did do an obscene amount of WoD the first week it was out, though, which pushed me most of the way along the completion path (it is 84 WoD/STs from 0 to full Nexus, assuming no bonus.)

Since I'm catastrophically bored but still loving this game far too much, I'm making an alt (since half the people in my static have one and that's a-double clearing in the making, potentially). But I'm really split on the class to pick. I want either SMN or WAR and truthfully speaking I've never been very good with either!

That's true for most endgame fights, auto-wipe mechanics can't be outgeared. But you can make the dps checks pointless, the HP checks pointless, and so on and so forth. It is massively easier in the gear you have now, and no where near the original challenge it once was. You are deluding yourself if you think otherwise, and I'm not sure why. I'm not saying it's faceroll easy, just that it's not the accomplishment it was when first released. The fact you can clear them so quickly now in a few lockouts is a testament to that.

WAR would require less cross class leveling. 22 GLD and 12 MNK would be enough more or less. SMN would need 26 THM and 34 ARC to be taken seriously.

But yeah, alts? ew.

SMN doesn't really need quelling strikes as much as a BLM does so I wouldn'd deem it necessary

Not entirely necessary but I open fights with it (+ T11 add and any Bane -> Fester add situation) just to avoid any weird thing going on. It's not BLM level but it doesn't hurt.

That said, yeah, you could avoid it and most people wouldn't notice.
