I would say Ninja just based on it being a Ninja.
Monk was the least popular DPS class from one of the polls they did a while back, so probably Ninja.

Good or bad idea: for Heavensward, they change the Bard into a new "support" class, make the Astrologian the other job in this class, and change one of the DPS slots in the DF to a support slot.
Granted the Astrologian is probably a lot more healing focused so it probably wouldn't be balanced... would lose a lot of DPS unless they gave the job some kind of cleric stance ability.

I feel u, homie. Black screen never ended, so I couldn't even change back to my hawt catpaladin. It's a shame. I achieved my level 30 PLD goal for the day
great success. Now five levels a day for the next four days and boom, level 50 pld before you know it.Somebody tell me what if anything is decided please. I'm giving up on reconnecting for a while, I can't hit any data center.

I saw the laser post originally I just couldn't formulate a response to it. Plus I got sidetracked trying to figure out if they're implying intentionally good crafted gear in the expansion or not.

I've got a second gen i7, 8 GB RAM, and a GTX 670 FTW. I play at 1440p on my PC and I think it's heads and tails above the PS4 version. PS4 is good for remote play sessions in bed with the Vita though but the PC version outclasses it visually even with my modest specs.

Well, don't remember if this was said in the reddit post, but he just gave the increased dot damage based on SS as a possible example. The exact specifics of things is still being discussed, but the overall goal is to make SS more appealing to all jobs in different ways, making it a more important stat than it is now. So don't go throwing SMN parades just yet.
I was going to ignore this post but I felt it important to tell you that, as a PLD, it is important you get used to being bored.
Honestly, so much of what he talks about is hypothetical or towards the bigger design goals rather than hard details, it may not be the kind of "good" crafted gear we normally think of. The balance thing he is talking about comes up when he is discussing the current state of crafting, where it's become a case of "you need all crafters" to get anything done and it's HQ or bust. They want crafted items to have more value, but not to the point where gil = power. He never says crafted battle gear specifically either, just crafted items in general and mentions the new materia system in the same breadth.
Personally I think they should let specialists add augmentations or something to gear, maybe like let you change secondary stats like this, so crafters would be important but not to the point where you need HQ/max melded sets of full gear. There is really no way they can introduce actually good fully crafted gear that competes with endgame drops without making gil = power.

But, yeah, I'm still on the fence on what this could possibly mean. With so many new things coming anyway, it's not like any real decisions can be made until we're actually playing and seeing what being 60 is like. So it's mostly just wishful thinking and joking about things.
I will say that I'm really looking forward to the previews of skills for the existing jobs. That should be rather interesting.

Reading through old threads such as OTs on here and some OF stuff and other places brings a smile to my face. I regret not being there early on and miss that wonder and newness of the first couple of months. Hopefully Heavensward will make enough of a diversion to feel new and magical again.
It should as long as stuff is openly accessible for the most part / older areas get populated with new things here and there.

So far I have had decent success alternating dungeons in hopes of getting a drop. Pharos and Copperbell were one shots but WP took quite a few tries. Not looking forward to running DD and Aurum Vale multiple times though. I wish I had a job that was high enough to take advantage of these dungeon runs.

Well I'd say you can't go wrong with either, they're both great melee DPS classes. Even Dragoon is alright now, though still lacking on utility. Hopefully that changes when they get a dragon whelp summon in the expansion, right? Advantage of Ninja I'd say is they don't suck as much when you do solo content like daillies and what not, positional attacks monk with GL3 mechanics is horrible to randomly kill stuff with, meanwhile you one shot mobs with Raiton crits.
Dragoons need utility in the expansion and I'm expecting us to get the best LB out of all the DSP classes.
