When you're in chapter 3, make sure to do the sidequest called Pilgrimage.
You get to fight a cool little boss fight against a mech where the block/parry counter is Noct blasting with Fire (automatic, doesn't use or require the spell).

Game finally showed up at my doorstep tonight, just raided the second tomb. Really liking it so far but the Niflheim invasion from the 2013 trailer getting cut is still weighing on my mind, especially considering it was reworked into......whatever kingsglaive was.

This has probably already been posted since I haven't been in this thread much the past two days but the full tracklist for the OST is out here and I just wanted to point out that there is a track officially titled "Bros on the Road" and then another one titled "Bros on the Road II"

That is all.

Anyone have issues with The Errand Prince quest bugging out? My buddy talked to the motel manager but the quest doesn't progress and after the cutscene it still says to talk to him. When he reloads a save to watch the cutscene again (as an attempted fix) it won't show his UI anymore and he can't interact with NPCs or be killed. Only found one other person complaining about it but hoping someone might know of a fix.

Are those Shimomura tracks and do composers title their compositions (I mean obviously yes but I dunno if sometimes the developers have a word in it)? Cuz it's hilarious to me that Shimomura would title her tracks like that haha

Damn man, I see people picking 333AP talents many levels before me. I have no idea what 333+ Ascension perks to invest in, far too many.

Currently level 39, I'm contemplating switching all AP into magic, it seems batshit crazy strong.

I'm watching Kingsglaive right now. I think it's a cool unit, and the whole power of the ring is interesting. I like Lunafreya although she seems to be naive and stubborn which can be a weakness. My favorite character was Crowe for sure and I don't like her arc but she is so cool that I had hoped she would have been in the game. One thing I don't understand is who are the Gods, and why can they grant so much power. I still got 25 minutes left of the movie so I shall finish it. Maybe the Gods are just like the light crystals in the other games.

Sooooo I'm 11 hours in, just hit chapter 6, and I fucking adore this game. This is a serious GOTY contender for me so far. I know it has issues, but I'm just having so much fun and love the characters so much that I don't care about any of the negatives.

Chapter 7 HELP!

I may have encountered a glitch? On the underwater ruins, I found an Iron Giant that destroyed a bridge. However, the Giant disappeared, so I didn't fight him. Now the bridge won't restore itself...

Any ideas? :(

BS. I think it took me under an hour. Not sure who they're trying to fool with that shit lol, maybe they meant it would take a long time to be strong enough to fight it? That or if the person tried to fight it at level 1 or something...

Only those of the Lucian royal blood line are the only one who can access their power. The gods are former Lucian kings aka knights of the round and they don't mess with human affairs even if their kingdom is being shattered to bits only the current king can summon them.. however, if you are deemed worthy they'll grant you their powers... temporarily

Looking at the picture, it seems like you need to adjust "H Size" on your TV. It's set at 2 and maybe if you set it to 1, the sides with the mini-map, etc. won't be cutoff.

Are you talking the regular the green faced Magitek troops or the regular knight armor ones?

The Magitek ones are hard because they're mobile and attack as a unit. Unless you single them out you'll get overwhelmed fast.

Can Ignis learn recipes by buying meals from diners?

Currently just buying one of each ingredient I don't have, and it seems to be working okay

Not sure I'll end up filling out his recipes, but might as well get what I can. Will leave the optional fishing until I've finished the game I think, not sure it offers any reward.

Guys, help!! Suddenly my camera view is over Noctis' shoulder, like in Resident Evil 4. Did I unknowingly change something? I don't know how to get it back to normal with more space between Noct and the camera.

Edit: Was a bug, after reloading the savegame it's back normal. Phew... Looked cool though. XD

Which chapter do I leave the open world stuff completely? I just started chapter 6 and it seems like im about to leave it for good but ive barely been farther than like the town past the disc.

My Regalia is all messed up, broken windows, windshield, scratched and all and miss big tits won't repair it. Is this a bug?

Also i saw people saying that you couls fish while using the mp3 player. I'm not able to do so is this a bug or you simply cant?

Well, reloading the last Auto-Save fixed the issue. More than half an hour lost. :(

You can't do them reliably. They happen when you and one of the bros attack at the same time, which you can't really control.

That TV looks like it's a S60 plasma, I have one and you're correct in your assumption. Setting it to size 1 gets rid of any overscan.

Just finished Kingsglaive. So Luna is basically just gonna sneak her way to Altissia by blending in? Lmao! I hope we get to go to Ghanda or what it was called, and that we get to see those Gods again in the game. Those were pretty cool.

I've reached chapter 2 with English dubs.

As of right now every single voice has grown on me. But what the fuck is up with Gladio. One moment he's doing batman gruff voice the other he sounds like a human being

I like how the game actually allows you to damage and kill higher level mobs. I just killed one of those level 30 knights at night time with a party only level 9.

At the end of chapter 1, Noctis is literally overlooking the location that Luna is taking to leave Insomnia. They are literally so close to each other it is frustrating that they don't encounter one another??

When Luna is leaving Insomnia in Kingsglaive she's with that one guy. Where the hell did he go in the five minute span that she steps out of Insomnia?

These people have cell phones...why don't Noctis and Stella just call each other to coordinate locations?

1. Think Sleeping Beauty. Two rivaling kingdoms who simply can't get along decide to have their children wed to unite the two kingdoms. However this is a ploy on the rivaling Kingdom to take Insomia's magic for themselves. But why this Kingdom with such advance technology needs magic is beyond me.

2. PLOT HOLES. PLOT HOLES GALORE. Luna leaving for Insomia was changed because of Kingsglaive. Really most holes in this game story is because of Kingsglaive. I'm going to keep pointing fingers and this movie because it single handedly FUCKED up this game's story from making any sort of sense. Really fuck this movie for ruining this game's direction and giving details. And fuck this movie for not even explaining the backstory to even make it worth watching. Really you have to jump through the whole multiverse and read interviews on the story to actually know what's going on.

3. Why Luna and Noctis can't just meet at end of chapter 1? She shouldn't be there in the first place, cause last minute rewrites. Or I'm sorry, cause Kingsglaive, that's why.

4. Inconsistency. And Kingsglaive has both nothing to do with Final Fantasy XV and then again everything to do with Final Fantasy XV. Seriously this movie was a complete after thought.

5. PLOT HOLES. Or she simply doesn't have Noctis number nor knows anyone who does. Granted she does have like 3 OTHER forms of communication with Noctis. She could had been tied up, setting other things in motion, and so on. Really her character doesn't make sense and is just there to have a female presence and move forward with the story. Yeah great job Tabata, remove Stella because her character didn't make sense and replace her with Luna who could had just been replaced with a lamp and nothing would had changed.

Game is definitely growing on me, just started Chapter 3. A bit more development with the
tomb stuff
and glad to see they didn't
cut Cor, even made him a temporary party member.
