Nobuo Uematsu is only thing that's missing for me, I mean other little things I miss in FF but the game is solid, however Yoko is no Uematsu for me
Has the Pilgrimage Sidequest glitched for anyone else? We drove there, got attacked by Magitek Soldiers & Mech at the gate and now I'm just kinda "stuck" in battle mode with no more enemies & it says the quest is complete.
Do you guys have any suggestion for not being overleveled during the main quest? Except for the obvious "don't do the sidequests" I'm at the beginning of the game and want to enjoy it as much as possible without missing anything.
I can't find a reliable way of permanently locking in to a target without letting go of the lock on button. Is there a way to hard lock?

Were you into FF previously?
Damn Laser Sensor in crafting gives a potency boost and an extra cast. Have a Unicast III at 314 x10..

Yeah the music is nice and all, but the music player really drives home how incredibly good the old Uematsu tracks are. Wish the portable player worked in battles.
I'm not a fan of the lock on system either, but hard lock is R1 + R3.
Finally started playing this. I think I might keep HDR turned off.
I can't seem to get it to look right. All of the whites just look completely blown when it's turned on out no matter which pre-defined setting I try on my TV (LG B6).

What I don't get tho is why square just is so shallow with actual equipment.. Dont they think people can juggle 3 to 5 armor pieces and what not?
Guys idk what to do. When I play the game, I want to explore, and take my sweet ass time... but at the same time it's killing me that I have to avoid every corner of the internet.

I love Ardyn and Araenea
Yeah the only other FF experience I remember having is exclusively running up and down a pier in what I think was FFX on my brothers PS2 when I was young. So the first one I've really played lol, but I just got to thein chapter 6 and yep, I love this game and will cherish it forever, especially since I hear it only gets better from here.boss fight
Would do damn near anything for more of this game world and i can see myself replaying it for years to come. Probably going to buy that Lucii necklace too because that is how much this game means to me.
Alsorompto is best bro and i relate to him and Noct most
Thank you man. I don't know which role you had in the game, but whatever it was, just THANKS. You can REALLY tell how much passion and effort went into this game. You guys did a great job.
So how would this game play for someone who hasn't touched the series since the 16-bit era and is really out of the loop on modern JRPGs in general?
Right now I'm finally making the push to finish Persona 4 for the first time and loving it so much I'm on board for P5, but FFXV has me curious.
Modern Final Fantasy games always looked so complex/convoluted to me.
Is a "non-fan" going to enjoy this?
QA and Localization.
Is your PS4 Resolution set to 2160 YUV420 or 2160 RGB?

I don't mind them at all. This game is much more about exploration than it is about storytelling. It's in a way refreshing. And I'm saying this as someone who's been replaying Mass Effect trilogy which is much more story driven. In an era where side missions have come so far, here comes FFXV with these... well regular side missions and I can't help but be disappointed.
4 hours in...thinking I should play this as it was meant to be played -- with the Japanese subtitles. Anyone else go this route?
I personally love the Summon system. I think it makes the Summon seem like the deities they are instead of being pets that the protagonist can call on a whim. They decide when to help you.
I know many people will disagree, but this is something I wish they keep for future games.
I haven't been able to SummonTitan yet. Ramuh 3 times. Shiva 3 times (No need to be on the final boss), Leviathan 1 time.
Just finished the game. My favorite game of all time. Cannot believe how well they delivered considering the development hell this went through. I loved everything about it and I'm not eloquent enough to explain it. But I played 12 hours today and it's 2 in the morning. Just finished and I still want to play.
Ardyn is easily one of the best villains in the franchise.
So refreshing after boring-ass Caius, Bartendalus and Vayne.
Well dude, congratulations. You guys did a fantastic job.
Okay chapter 13 is the only part of the game I feel the hates justified, it just keeps going and going..... omg square I see what you did there.

I need to know everything you think about that Chapter and all the ending stuff.Chapter 14 is upsetting in so many ways...
