Sorry for the Twitter quality shot, but I just had to share this one since it may as well be the best pic my Prompto took in my 8:30hrs of playing the game:

Chapter 13 spoilers
Do you get to go back to the open world again or do you need to use umbra
Plus if you wanna save up EXP you're gonna be wasting time at night too
I enjoyed Kingsglaive today and started FFXV. I do feel like there are WAY too many sidequests and they have little to no importance. I might just go through the story.

Iris is fucking weird.
Why's she bob and weave all over the place when she talks?

Yeah it's the same with me. Been going back and forth between all off or just the basic HUD with map off.I only have the minimap and button prompts off, but yeah, it already makes a big difference to me. I'm sure a lot of people don't have that issue, but I always end up playing looking at the minimap instead of the game. So having such a quick map button on R3, I can play without it with no issues at all. Loving it.
I spammed dual/quadcast Fira (I think) while chugging potions to beat them. Just focus on spamming techs and keeping everyone alive between casts.
Yeah, they hit very hard. You met them at a dead end canyon? It sucks, cause you have no space to maneuver and they're quick as lightning.
I had trouble killing coeurls even when my level was higher.
You have to be extra careful to not warp into them when their whiskers is brimming with lightning.
Prompto's techniques that weaken enemies should come in hand.
Magic packs a punch too, iirc they're weak to fire.
When using magic, try to use Ignis's Regroup first, so your party is away from the magic when you cast it.
Thanks for all the help everyone!A Couerl alone is waaaay easier than more than one, though. You can basically just get behind it and keep wailing without it even doing much to you.
When there's more than one you can't just do that because the other one is running around doing it's damaging AoE. The insta kill move is devestating to the AI too. While you can be smart enough to not run at it while they sit down, the AI blunder in like fools.
Either way, I recommend tanking up with defence food and getting some Phoenix Downs just in case your team mates go full retard. Also make sure you just watch out yourself that you don't run into them while they're charging up the insta-kill.
Is the first fishing quest in Duscae supposed to be super hard? My 1500 durability line snaps...
That's like the definition of a bandaid instead of a cure.Warp to a safe distance -> Ignis -> Regroup -> Use magic
Simple.
That animation cracked me up. Loved it.The animation Iris does whenwas so stupid...but cute.you do a link-strike (or was it blindside??) with her and she gives you a potion and you pat her on the head and then she spins around

what is ebony?
Iris: "The breeze feels so good!"
Noct: *disgusted sound*
This guy can't even pretend to be likable. Why can't she be interested in literally anybody else?
Is there any trophies tied to difficulty level? If I was to drop it down to easy.
A brand of coffe Ignis likes, sometimes he sips it while driving Regalia (there is a can of it between the front seats)

It should be RGB if you have a B6... not sure with other TVs
I'd make sure to pick up Ignis' regroup ability early on. It's pretty helpful.I have this downloading right now.

R1 + R3 is permalock but even that is pretty unreliable.
Don't get caught up in sidequests. Blitz through the main story and come back to them later.
The fishing mini game is terrible but so addicting ;-;

👀That's better.
The controls seem kind of ??? tho like even going slowly I don't think I've ever managed to reel a fish without damaging the line 😂It's pretty great IMO, by far the best fishing mini game I've played in a video game.
