Yea... I played the whole thing stoned, which really helped with the immersion.
The Izunia stuff is hinted at in that cutscenes but it isn't really outright explicit in the game. The rest should be pretty clear though. It's a good cutscene, ugh, had so many questions.

No food buff going into that fight is going to be rough.
So i noticed on this mob type, when she rears her head back to do the frog fog attack, warpstrike her face and it should interrupt it. This also may be reliant on you having the AP trait that lets you break daemon parts with warpstrike.

If you have Bow of the Clever, try equipping it and using Ignis's Overwhelm. Just stay alive as you work up the 2 bars between each try.
It's a seriously broken skill with that weapon. I'm not even all that good at the game and this combo is carrying me through every dungeon. You do pretty much 50k a tech with while invincible/=.
They're not gonna patch out the problems people have with it. It's long and boring they can't change that. Just don't bother using stealth and everything will be fine. Well maybe stock on elixirs and stuff before going.
Forget about such patch for a while.
That reminds me. Question about the Naga boss:
She says something about her baby. Is this a quest later in the game? Do I find out what she was talking about? Is this a hint that the empire is stealing daemons to experiment with or something (I just made that up in my head, but now it's mind cannon)

400k in the bank?! What were you doing all this time? Couldn't have been just side quests and hunts because I did those too and got nowhere near that.
wear or eat something that prevents toad and petrify (toad is generally more annoying though), then the fight becomes much easier.

Overwhelm is already OP by itself, but with the bow equipped it becomes insane. Noctis basically turns the bow into a machine gun during that time.

Thanks for the clarification, I didn't pick up that part about Noctis' family being the Izunias. So, correct me if wrong: Ardyn was a healer and the next in line to be king, but trying to save Eos from the Demons' Power, he "absorbed" it and become corrupted and immortal. Due to this, the Crystal denied him Ascension and chose Noctis' family (the Izunias) as new rulers, and that's why Ardyn became mad and seek revenge against Noctis' family and the True King mentioned in the prophecy (Noctis)
This really wont click until way later in the game.

In chapter 13 you find out the infected people, that you see luna heal, actually turn into daemons if they aren't healed.

During this fight I had the accessory to be immune to toad. Equipped Thunderbolt heavy sword on Noct and Glad, Regroup on Ignis, and Prompto guarding the ground lol (fucking Prompto smh), wrecked her though.
It's a tomb inside the mines dungeon just north of Galdin Quay

So much potential in this game.
I honestly didn't even care enough to finish the game, but I wanted to do the post-game content so I did finish it and ... the ending was surprisingly great, fights included.

Having to gather up all these random bits of ore to dye the car is really aggravating. I feel like this shouldn't be so difficult, just let me buy the colours!

The dungeon is not part of the main quest and is in the first area but the boss is high level (52)

I keep dying in this game.
I'm level 11, I'm doing missions that are recommended for level 6, those airships come in and drop soldiers that are level 16, and I get wrecked.
I'm no stranger to character action games, but for whatever reason I keep getting wiped.
Anyone else finding this game tough as hell?

I think the idea at your level is to run like hell from the drop ships.
Or, you can target the first guy out with a spell and then you can kill them all in one hit.

I really like the combat so i rarely shy away from engagements, i tried a few expericasts, which is quite fun when you use it with thundaga on the ambushing imperials. Other than that I have done all the hunts, side quests and a few dungeons I could.
Honestly I am not sure, and I might be wrong here, but I think the rest places have been always half off for me since the beginning of the game.
Apparently it's cause of the traveler pack preorder bonus

Wow, people were not kidding about Costlemark Tower being difficult. Oh, you thought that was a lot of enemies to handle all at once? HERE HAVE A SHIT-TON MORE.
I kinda loved it though, aside from the camera being crappy at times. The dungeons and enemies are so great in this game. Also, I have a new appreciation for all the healing items Gladio keeps picking up.

Costlemark is what really made me love this game. Such a fun experience.
Yeah, that thing is nuts. Definitely the most sizable bonus.

Finished the main story last night. Was thinking about it again today and actually got a little choked up thinking about (ending spoilers)
the campfire scene. Yes, the storytelling sucked, but character development between the four bros was actually well handled.
Inns half off is part of the Travel Pack DLC that came with the Amazon Road Trip Gae Bolg.
It's great. The camera is a nightmare at times, but setting it to close made it bearable.
Really hoping they fix the camera for enclosed areas, will only make it better.

The Taelpar motel actually, it's an outpost in the southwest corner of the Duscae region.
Which reminds me, are there any other scenes like that in the game? Not tours, but just scenes where you and your friends talk like that. It would be weird if there was only one
Are we talking about the scene where Prompto comes out and opens up to Noct about his life growing up? I got that at the Longwythe Motel if so. Only triggered after I did his tour at the camp spot east of Hammerhead though.
Are there any tours beyond the first ones? I haven't had one since I left Leide.
