This game is fun to play while drinKING. Even the fetch quests are interesting enough while jamming on the FF7 soundtrack.
I did not pick up on this at all.
Might be because the music deafened Arden talking in one scene, really bad sound mix.
anyone got any tips to fight this boss? I decided to reload my game from an earlier save after encountering this as I wasn't in the mood to waste precious elixirs and pots.

Did they give any indication as to when the Chapter 13 patch will be coming out? Kinda want to wait until it does to do ch 13 but I'm already at ch 10... I have to work until Monday anyway, so hopefully we get it next week.

So i reached chapter 3 at level 28 and got a bit carried away exploring the map, doing side quests and hunts anyways when i finally decided to cash in my exp it looked like this:

wear or eat something that prevents toad and petrify (toad is generally more annoying though), then the fight becomes much easier.anyone got any tips to fight this boss? yep.If you have Bow of the Clever, try equipping it and using Ignis's Overwhelm. Just stay alive as you work up the 2 bars between each try.
That reminds me. Question about the Naga boss:
She says something about her baby. Is this a quest later in the game? Do I find out what she was talking about? Is this a hint that the empire is stealing daemons to experiment with or something (I just made that up in my head, but now it's mind cannon)
The relationship betweenArdyn and Noctis is already revealed at that part of the game. Noctis' family are not the real Lucis Caelum. They are the Izunia. Ardyn has been alive for hundreds and hundreds of years. He was the original Lucis Caelum that was supposed to ascend to the throne. The Crystal chose the Izunias instead, and they 'took' the Lucis Caelum surname for themselves.

That was probably the idea yeah. I don't think we have any info after that point, sadly.

Is Bow of the Clever a weapon? In that case, is it found or rewarded in a main quest?

Probably a reference to how (late game spoiler)Niflhiem is kiddnapping people from small villages and turning them into demons. She was probably a mother at some point
>25 days elapsed
...okay.
Also why's the inn half off? Is there a quest to make it cheaper?

It's a tomb inside the mines dungeon just north of Galdin Quay
I keep dying in this game.
I'm level 11, I'm doing missions that are recommended for level 6, those airships come in and drop soldiers that are level 16, and I get wrecked.
I'm no stranger to character action games, but for whatever reason I keep getting wiped.
Anyone else finding this game tough as hell?
400k in the bank?! What were you doing all this time? Couldn't have been just side quests and hunts because I did those too and got nowhere near that.

Apparently it's cause of the traveler pack preorder bonusI really like the combat so i rarely shy away from engagements, i tried a few expericasts, which is quite fun when you use it with thundaga on the ambushing imperials. Other than that I have done all the hunts, side quests and a few dungeons I could.
Honestly I am not sure, and I might be wrong here, but I think the rest places have been always half off for me since the beginning of the game.

The game took 10 years to make.
Wow, people were not kidding about Costlemark Tower being difficult. Oh, you thought that was a lot of enemies to handle all at once? HERE HAVE A SHIT-TON MORE.
I kinda loved it though, aside from the camera being crappy at times. The dungeons and enemies are so great in this game. Also, I have a new appreciation for all the healing items Gladio keeps picking up.

I also have the inns half off. Maybe it's part of a DLC?
Wow, now you're overpowered for the rest of the game.
Costlemark is what really made me love this game. Such a fun experience.
So where can I see that Prompto scene everyone is talking about?
So where can I see that Prompto scene everyone is talking about?
Should be the Longwythe motel.
Are we talking about the scene where Prompto comes out and opens up to Noct about his life growing up? I got that at the Longwythe Motel if so. Only triggered after I did his tour at the camp spot east of Hammerhead though. The Taelpar motel actually, it's an outpost in the southwest corner of the Duscae region.
Which reminds me, are there any other scenes like that in the game? Not tours, but just scenes where you and your friends talk like that. It would be weird if there was only one
