I see we got to the point in this FF thread where we're ranking the games.

The first three I like because of their battle systems, and that's what I weigh the most in these games. V would be higher for me, but VI and VII outweigh it purely on nostalgia of my childhood. The rest I don't feel very strongly about. I also really enjoyed XIV 2.0, but I wouldn't be sure where to put it in the list as it's so different.

Are we talking about the scene where Prompto comes out and opens up to Noct about his life growing up? I got that at the Longwythe Motel if so. Only triggered after I did his tour at the camp spot east of Hammerhead though.

Are there any tours beyond the first ones? I haven't had one since I left Leide.

Wow ch13 is some BS. Like one of the worst moments I've ever had to deal with in a game. Feels like the game got worse as it went on.

Can't say I've really enjoyed this game TBH. It's a bit of a mess overall. Has its moments but massively falls short of being good. Cant say I'm terribly disappointed though either. Maybe even expected how it ended up becoming.

Welp, I took the 150k exp I accumulated, and turned it into 1.55m through the 3x Hotel. Lv63 to 91, and I still haven't beaten the game. Been had all the Royal Arms and shit, and I even beat Adamantoise before leveling up (I wish I had the idea to use Expericast on him instead), so I suppose I no longer have any excuse to postpone beating this game now lmao

Just entered chapter 8 after 70hrs
Feels like barely anything happened and I'm already in the end portion(?) of the game :/

I get that the game feels kinda sparse for some, but jesus man, you sure that doesn't have something to do with spending 70 hours on the first 8 chapters when most people are beating the game around 25-30 hours?

I'm mostly joking about that. I am just incredibly upset at what they did with this character. Death != emotional impact. I didn't give a shit about her and the game never did anything to convince me to. She was there to summon something and die. For all the marketing with her, she was such a small part of the story.

If you haven't watched Brotherhood and Kingsglaive then yeah I can understand how you feel and sympathize. They didn't really do much at all in game about that which is unfortunate.

Honestly I feel that the game has a good story, but that's including its multimedia material.

There was potential, but like everything else which had potential in the story line, it just wasn't utilised.

So I just beat chapter 4. Questions:

during the titan fight the game mentioned something about activating the argimar (bad spelling) and the other party members would do something? But when I did it noctus just got super fast at attacking. How exactly does this system work?

Story wise, the chancellor just takes us out and drops us off at the chocobo farm, and then noc gets a random vision from a messenger sent by luna to go see the thunder god? Do I have that right?

The soundtrack for this game is a work of art. Especially all the tracks that play during all of the ending sequences. Tears are shed every time.

You can use a phoenix down or a mega phoenix.
