15 minutes left on this stupidly large patch.

It'll be done by 11:30PM. I have work tomorrow and need to be up at 7 at the latest. Let's see how this goes.

And still nothing fromAmazon. Stuff I ordered to ship in 4 days gets overnight shipping but not my game with release day shipping. Looks like I'll be picking up s copy today from somewhere else. Thanks Amazon.

... Same... i'm not happy at all with this change... i fear it actually tuned down the challenge the game was suppose to offer... where is the hard mode ? a future DLC ?

I'm pretty certain that I won't get the game today, which sucks so bad.

It annoys me so goddamn much the fact that I preordered the game in march yet still Square couldn't make it so I would get my copy on launchday

I bought a ps4 pro for this game literally because of this reason. Mine went overdrive for like every game so I knew this would blow it away.

I played two hours last night, and can't wait to get home so I can continue. No matter it was the same area as Judgment Demo, it's damn fun.

Even with only a regular PS4 it should be a no brainer. If only get this for Xbox if I had no other choice.

So... has anyone in Germany received their FFXV Deluxe Edition from the SE Store yet?
I never got a shipment notification but according to my account page it is marked as shipped via Royal Mail without tracking...

Finally got it! It's installing after the usual argument with my PS4 over storage space. Now I can stop being a bitter bitch because loads of people got it early. Happy days!

Put five hours in still in the judgment demo area, I'm most certainly gonna put a lot of hours in this game, maybe the first game I try to platinum. I haven't progressed anywhere in the story, but I'm loving the combat and characters, game looks amazing on my PS4 Pro with hdr.

My advice if you have it on easy is to create a save file at the start of each chapter (I do that anyway)

That way if the Ifrit battle sneaks up on you, you've only got to go back to that one save file and re-do the fight on normal.



Hold Square when you see an enemy winding up to hit you.
Square is dodge/parry. L1 only calls in your friends to do hits.

Oh whoops, forgot I was playing w/ Type B controls. I am holding dodge/parry, but I feel like I shouldn't be holding dodge + lock-on for the whole of a fight.

Sorry for this probably dumb question, but is there any exclusive content on the PS4?

Thinking about picking this up for my XB1 since it runs much more quiet, but I don´t want to miss out on anything.

Not really, but ps4 looks better overall.

Nothing as of yet, but I doubt that would change now since both offer the season pass.

And lime above the ps4 version looks better.

lol, yeah my PS4 was having none of it. It initially said I was 24gb short, but I had to delete 80gb before it would install. I think it likes to wind me up.

The platinum on this game is ridiculously easy.

The only one that's time consuming to get is survival rank 10 which just means walking around loads.

As of yesterday it was the only trophy nobody had achieved.

Type B is the way to go.
Attack with
playstation-flat-icon-square-black-and-white-24.png
, jump
playstation-flat-icon-cross-black-and-white-24.png
and menu
playstation-flat-icon-triangle-black-and-white-24.png
is mandatory.
Dodging with L1 feels soo good.

So I learned my first ability for Ignis. It said I need to equip it but I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to do that?

After the patch the photos are also not displayed in full 1080p anymore and have fat black bars around them. I wonder if that was intentional to make them look more like photos in an album/a gallery or if it is a bug. :/

That´s OK, since I wont have both versions running side by side it wont matter to me.

This is the kind of game you play for hours and I just don´t want to risk my PS4 turning into a hairdryer - it´s gotten pretty loud recently.

BTW: Is there a PC version on the horizon maybe?

Xbox One version runs in dynamic 720p to 900p resolution and looks very blurry. Many say it is the blurriest game they ever saw on Xbox One.

This is such a huge let down. I do hope they release more DLC outfits or patch some in. Not sure why they even bothered with such slim choices.
